This is great. Lots of gems. One thing I would suggest is not to shoot a movie with bad audio. There are cheap options now. If you cant afford a sound person look at getting a wireless system like the Rode go, Neewer cm28, DJI Mic etc. Those will allow you to mic up two actors and will give you backup audio if there is an issue with the wireless transmission. Trust me its worth looking into cheap options. People will turn your movie off if the audio is really bad.

Did he do the $6k filmmaker course? I've looked into that as a way of getting a feature done on budgets he's talking about. I loved the classes and recommend it. Some great ideas on how to add production value without raising budget.
I applaud Milton for being able to pay his actors SAG rates. His super indie movies can afford it, yet we had a 6 months strike last year because big studios were claiming SAG and the WGA are being "unreasonable". Yeah something tells me part of those studios big "expenses" is stuff like say Disney needing to spend $50 million on licensing Avengers Endgame, and another $50 million on licensing Avengers Infinity Wars, and another $50 million on licensing Star Wars Force Awakens, and another $50 million on licensing Avatar, etc. And any fan would know what's wrong with that statement.

Don't think for a second they ain't doing the same thing with streaming. Heck the people who works for the studios knows it's bullcrap because they know the CEOs went on record telling their investors streaming is making them record profits. Then flipflop and say the streamers are losing them money when the people who actually makes the movies and TV shows expect to be paid fairly. Then I read other stuff that earlier this year Amazon made $11.82 Billion in the first 3 months of this year from ad revenue alone,. With a $2.3 billion increase from the year prior from you guessed, Amazon Prime video now having ads. Then the next 3 months made $12.8 billion from ad revenue, up from $10.6 billion the year prior from ads on Amazon Prime. At the rate they're going, Amazon is on route to make at least $10 billion this year from ads alone on Amazon Prime. Nevermind the subscription fees. There's no way in hell you can convince me Amazon Prime is not making money. Especially since even before the ads came in, Jeff Bezos was known to spend his money flying around in dick rockets. Yeah that's totally something someone who's business is in debt would do *insert sarcasm*. Though Hollywood accounting should be just called 1% accounting as the super rich are known to pull this crap. For example Google and Starbucks infamously pays no taxes and politicians do this crap too. For example here in Canada $1.5 billion of our taxpayer money is spent to fund a broadcasting company named CBC which is not a case for any other broadcasting or production company. BTW a channel called Canadian Taxpayer Federation covers that company a lot, and point things out like for every 1 journalist CBC has, it has 4 managers behind the scenes. I'm going to let you take a guess what those managers actual do. Also when CBC and Canadian politicians in general fail at their job to even meet their own expectations and crumbles the economy, guess what happens? They give themselves bonuses worth more than the average Canadian yearly income of course! Our current world is pretty much a game on how much can the 1% leech off and suck every drop of blood from the people who actually does the work.
I don't know why people keep thinking film school students charge minimum wage or work for free, while schools in an effort to make their students believe their exorbitant tuition is a precursor to making good money in the industry, encourage their students to charge fair market rates, to the point that some schools have set up offices that broker such collaborations at market rate or not far from it, for their students who will then use your production as their training ground...

I don't think so. From my conversation in the video and after we cut, it sounded like this was all through trial and error experiences.
