Excellent video this showed me exactly what I was looking for. I didnt understand why people told me to buy Mortise and reload kit instead of practice lock
Another great video, thank you for making and sharing this 😊 I started down this path of making a lock like this maybe 6 months ago based on a similar BosnianBill video but got stymied when I couldn’t find a tap of the right size I could order online. But this has inspired me to try again and maybe I’ll be able to find it now that supply chains have adjusted. Thanks again!
Not a dumb question! #6 is the diameter (0.138") and 32 indicates the number of SAE standard profile screw threads per inch. It's typically represented with a "#" in front of the diameter, and a dash before the threads vs like a fraction.
If you do order from that site you should use TRIBE20 to save 20 percent. But there could well be cheaper sites out there offering the same thing, I really haven’t searched for them much
Hey Donald, I haven't had the desire to get into the business of making and selling these, so sorry, I don't. You can also find some pre-made repinnable practice locks like the one from Sparrows and I've found some on Amazon.
@@OakCityLocksport good point, Sparrows has the Revolver which is a 4-way repinnable lock that’s even cheaper than the one I posted before - completely forgot about that one 😂

Good tutorial 👍
Dumb question, but why is it 6/32 instead of 3/16?

Do you have any of the practice locks you'd sell?
