- Consume were a Hardcore crust punk band that formed in Seattle, Washington. Consume are one of my favorite bands so I took the time to make a full discography, yes they have a compilation already but they didn't add the Born/Dead split LP in the release. If you haven't heard them your in for a treat... Especially if your a fan of State of Fear, Deathraid & Disrupt. Jay kills it.
Enjoy the noise.

Always loved these guys in any incarnation; Disrupt, State of Fear, Consume, they’re all ragers
Check out their other side project bands Shitlist and Decrepit both got that Disrupt, Consume,DIsrupt feel.
Deathraid, of course Amazing music
And now Nightfeeder!
I saw this band 15 years ago in Seattle and they were excellent. Thanks for posting.
Still the same goosebumps after 20 years
This fucking kills. Some of the best riffs ever. IMHO
Seattle crust legends!!!
never heard them until the Born/Dead split. So blown away by their music. Not a huge crust fan, but these guys are one of my favorite bands.
Total quality from start to finish, this band shreds🔥
Yes, It's one of my absolute favorites.
Listen to Disrupt,Deathraid and now Nightfeeder.Welcome to life mh friends
Great bands forgot to mention Decrepit, Shitlist, and State Of Fear too.
A very great band!
One of my top favorites, check out Shitlist and Decrepit they had same members of Consume.
sick!
Cool.
Best Crust Punk!!!
Top on my list. Love Consume.
Um salve a toda galera!👊

Consumerism is hell.
Crust-core of the highest level. I don't know what the fuck these people breath in the US, but I wish we could have some in europe...
In Europe you do have Crustcore you just have to discover it. it's out there and been made. Many European countries since the 90's been making it.
@@NarcolepticFox yeah I know, but in my opinion none of the eurpean crust bands (at least from the 90s, early 2000s) are remotely close to Disrupt for example. and Consume are up there as well. anyway your channel rocks!
I love commerce and consumerism. No seriously. F*** capitalism but commerce and consumers rule
Interested in starting a band? Looking for peeps to play this style. Everybody's doing some cookie-cutter shit these days. Need more of *THIS* style.
"The need for acceptance has overruled competence" -- sounds like today's scene!
I don't have musical experience. I can't sing, or play any instruments, I just share, archive bands on my channel. Good luck, would love to hear bands in this style again. Make crust a threat again especially during these relevant periods of time.
@@NarcolepticFox You got it, brother. Thanx for great uploads. Cheers.
@@Truth_Hurts_Bad where you located
@@curb_fiend Was in Montreal, now in New Brunswick.
@Truth_Hurts_Bad I really want to start a band in this style too but everybody’s listening to baby babbling pop punk and shitty rap. thinking that this is to hard for them.
rip off "karnvappen attack" by Mob 47.
Not rip off inspired. One band is always inspired or dedicated from one another. Just look how many dis band clones are. Being unique in the punk genre is a challenge but some do have various sound differences or similarities.
@@NarcolepticFox I recently read a short interview with Jay on the unrealized Disrupt/ENT split and he mentioned being into Metal early on, which definitely shaped these recordings, in my humble opinion. One of the crowning achievements of Crust. If anyone has lyrics to 'Dogfood' do share. I can make out some words, but I'd love a deep dive. Cheersies.
Gotta love that passage:
Regardless of culture
It's still fucking wrong
You call this civilized?
Look at what we've done
As well as I can hear anyway. Some other loose phrases I can hear include: "Don't you see a double standard? Same respect to be applied. What's the fucking difference? No animal deserves to die."
@@Truth_Hurts_Bad Consume is a band I listen to on a daily biases definitely a top tier for me. Have you tried on Discogs? Maybe a scan of the lyrics sheets on there for that song?
@@NarcolepticFox Nothing for that track and even in the comp CD's lyrics, that one's missing. A shame, since it's such a stomper.
@@Truth_Hurts_Bad I tried myself to find any info, It's from a compilation called ALF/ELF and I can't even find it. Rise, The Screams of Dying Cowboys, and Dogfood are definitely my favorite tracks.
TOTAL crust
Hell ya ! These guys soo underated ! Love them !
