They did a split with consume!? Holy fucking shit!
Brutal punk destroyer ♥️🇻🇪
This band is still awesome after all these years
Man i havent heard born/dead in years. Saw them open for subhumans at showcase theater in corona, ca, Miss those days when there was a good venue in the inland empire.
Was that the show with left overcrack. I was thier too was a good show
@@danielambriz1308 it wasnt that show. The one i went to was from their 2006 tour.
Good times back in those days. I live near buffalo and Rochester NY. We had pretty kick ass scenes back then. There was an entire street in buffalo where punks had a whole neighborhood! Like 5-6 houses all right there. Had some wicked basements shows in a couple of the houses. Subhumans and MDC played a basement show there on their tour.... Really great times!
Holy fuck I was at that show
@@DarkTenseii It was a great show. I really miss that place, had a vibe to it that nowhere else has matched for me.
1st song reminds me of State of Fear and or Disrupt. I used to have a consume record a long time ago, the one that has the money on front of the album that. Looks like it was going down the drain. Good album. Thanks for posting this.
Thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoy. I have all the Consume records and uploaded the Discography. Most members of Consume we're either in State of Fear and Disrupt they moved to Seattle when Disrupt was no more and went on to form other project bands, Decrepit Jay's other band is another amazing band if you love Disrupt.
pretty sure Jay from disrupt played in state of fear?
❤
Cool
Will get this for 6.50 euro in the vinyl shop just at the ground floor the house where i live
Very convenient!
Brilliant
Fuck yeah still
🔥
Thanks for the upload btsslyfox! -Wastedyouth530-
No problem dude.
Ah ahaha lembre-se que foi no D-Beat que tudo começou!Mas de fato o Crust é apaixonante!E o Consume é demasiado furioso,eu amo tudo isso!
i luv born/dead
Both bands I love. Such a Great Split, thanks for commenting!
Terror!👊
Classic split. Anyone know the source for the sample that starts off the CONSUME side?
At 13:00 Consume side starts.
super late reply, actually that clip is the end of the Born/Dead side. It is Henri Charrière otherwise known as Papillion. It is from an interview he did in the 70's.
And still people are reading you're late reply even later. Weird. Haha.

saw BORN7DEAD in Berlin, some xears ago.....epic....
Nice! Am sure it was a good show. I didn't get to see them perform sadly. I was too young or haven't heard of them by then. Thanks for the comment.

2000s US finest crust punk 🧐
Dare ya
Born Dead side so much better. Music and vocals. Contents are good in both bands for sure
How could you like this comment? Kid said the Born/Dead side is "so much better" musically and vocally. Total belly laugh, though B/D are solid. The vocals are pretty accessible, which is not really to my taste, especially for this style of music + they have those lame half-aggressive shouting lines about not giving up and all that teenaged rebellious stuff. Balls to the wall or nowhere at all. The compositions are held in higher regard, but sound like those young bands these days that imitate the Swedish sound ala Totalitar. Stuff like Torso and whatever (I don't really keep up). Consume have absolute stomper tracks lyrically, musically, and vocally. Led Astray, Logical Limits Exceeded, Mediocrity Remains are 3 of my personal top-shelfers. TOTAL CRUSHER SHIT.
Comments are 4 years old..... That sucks....,
I also was feeling slightly nostalgic. Wanted to re explore the bands i listened a liftime ago now!
I am sewing a patch on after a ten year hiatus at age 36. And I'm thinking so much has changed in the world since I was in my twentys and being embedded in the crust scene and then being jarred into reality by the fact that NOTHING has really changed... I just got older and more aware of this horrid yet beautiful reality we dwell together in. Fuck shit up or pray for peace either way cheers!

At 14:46 The Consume side starts. Fuck Born Dead
Lmao. I will admit that I don't listen to Born/Dead but they aren't terrible, they actually have some great compositions, but the vocals are a little tame and accessible. I like balls-to-the-wall Punk ie Consume.
Ill give someone 8 bux for this crappy split.
