Ive been learning unreal and godot for the last 4 months and was tempted to come back to Unity as I just know it so well because Ive been using it professionally since Unity 3.0, but these videos crammed with inane buzzwords and hollow promises have inspired me to continue learning Unreal and Godot. Thanks Unity!!
I feel the same way. It's pathetic when a company doesn't shine through its services, but constantly produces such fake videos by repeating empty phrases and buzzwords.
"You're not making a game. You're making a service; a game as a service". This is everything wrong with modern gaming. Not everything needs to be a f*cking live service game with "seasons" and battle passes.
I still remember the same phrases and self-congratulations from “WETA × UNITY”. What actually happened to the Weta Team? 🙃😉 I hope that no one forgets what a "great" company Unity is (keyword: Runtime-Fees, Gigaya).
Feels like a video trying to make Unity's investments popular, cramming it with buzzwords to make their shareprices improve. Instead of any kind of genuine or good faith "here are the trends we are seeing/can expect to see" :\

I don't like how the biggest trends and under-the-radar trends were pretty much the same thing. AI and VR. Really unhelpful.
Absolutely true
One current trend is to change agreement license out of nowhere. But im just saying.
A big trend recently is big companies trying to squeeze as much money as they can out of us
VR at home is an expensive thing; it's a trend only in America

without $$$$ for marketing, your game will be on the shelf..

The only person that understands gaming in this video is Justin at 1:00. The rest of these guys are so far up their asses...
It's basically a VR promotion.
Noone should use Unity after you revealed your true face
