Interview with Pejawar Seer | Vishwaprasanna Teertha

Vishwaprasanna Teertha Swami is now the seer of Pejawar Mutt. He succeeds Vishwesha Teertha Swami, who passed away recently. He is the 35th seer in the lineage, or guruparampara, of Pejawar Mutt. He was born in 1964 at Haleyangady-Pakshikere in Dakshina Kannada district to Krishna Bhat and Yamunamma. He speaks with NEWS9 on the occasion of Sankranti and speaks about the void by the demise of Vishwesha Teetha. He also says that he will play an active role in the construction of Ram Mandir and will stop the practice of Balasanyas in the future. He gives insight into the Dalit outreach program that will be continued by him.

I respect Prajwal, the anchor..but some of his questions containing "reforming Hinduism" "making the religion progressive" is the effect of McCauley system.. the mutt has done a lot of progressive things like gurukula system, Vedabhyasa and upanyasas..does the anchor mean these are regressive? I'm flabbergasted if he implied this!

Using english for questions is soo illogical and had no sence when answers are in Kannada.
There's no word for 'Nevu', in English, and that's how Swamiji is addressed.
