Thank you so much for your easy to understand explanation. I made a power point slide show for my husband's celebration of life next month. I could not figure out how to add a few songs back to back to flow through the show and your help is greatly appreciated as it turned out awesome. I bought the individual tunes from itunes and then downloaded audacity and copied and pasted each tune like you showed in your video. I saved it as a wav file and it uploaded perfectly. I had 149 photos so I timed each slide so that the music ends perfectly and loops back round for another go. The show is about 15 minutes long.
I'm an audacity novice so it's great to have a tutorial that makes sense to me😊. I need to create a 3 song disco medley so I'm going to give this a go - thanks so much!
Dude! You're amazing! Thank you so much! I use an AI splitter, to get music and vocals, split out, so I can sing to the track (I get a music track, and instrumental track separated. It's amazing!). I need to apply SOME - not all - of the background vocals, back to the track. Your instructional works perfect for this!
I see. There is no way to blend them except for creating a new track layer then pushing them together that they overlap then adjust to your liking. Thanks. I was thinking there was some kind of mixing tool I didn't know how to use. This is much easier to work with.
One tip. To increase gain without clipping, simply use the normalize effect with a setting of around -0.5 db. This will automatically increase the volume up until it’s just below the 0db threshold. Hope this helps!
I have a question: My question is i am trying to merge 2 songs together and record them together for a memorial service. I recorded them and exported them but when I opened them on itunes it did not played what did i do wrong
Can I ask a question I have the vocals and stems of two songs that I like, levitating by Dua Lipa and Lightswitch by Charlie puth. Lightswitch is so fast. I would like to know how do i reduce the speed of lightswitch to match with the speed of levitating
You’d have to isolate vocal/instrumental from respective songs. Then you need to find the bpm for both songs and calculate the percentage difference between the bpms. Then you need to adjust one to match the other and layer then until they sync up.
The only video after years of searching that told me exactly how to cut and transition songs on audacity. Thank you!
Short, concise...told me exactly what i needed to know. Many thanks
Exactly what I needed, thank you so much 🙏
