Thanks! I trimmed it myself several times along the way just to keep it looking thick and tamed. Unfortunately the first time I went to get it professionally cut (to film the end of the video), I ended up with a rookie that cut/sliced my head twice, butchered my beard and cut a lot off even though I was very specific to keep as much length as possible. Had to wait for it to regrow but didn’t wait for the maximum length.

The first time the guy fucked it up and trimmed it into like a weird point, was like a dagger on my chin so shaved it off. Guy was bragging about his "beard skills". Anyways I was more curious cause I'm regrowing one now at the moment and was thinking of doing a "yeard" cept no trimming at all but i duno if it's a good idea ha.
It’s a fun project to do. I’d say just start recording it and then decide at the end if you want to edit it/put it out. If you do a single photo a day, it’s not much effort at all. I’ll have a video up in the not so distant future on how to compile and line up all your photos with a really easy and fast technique.

We may have the unlucky bad hair genetics or whatever bad thing of our bodies, but the universe works in balance, so there is a good side of the genetics in everyone, either it is beard, chin, muscle mass, height, we just have to find it and use it with the right balance to "counterpart" the bad!

I had the idea of growing a full beard multiple times... But usually after like two weeks I was annoyed by the itching and trimmed it back to 4mm... This time, now that I'm getting 35, never having had a full beard, I commit to it... I start with one month and let's see where the journey ends - KRATOS is the goal!
It seems that a lot guys that can go grow full beards from a younger age seem to be the first ones to go bald versus some the guys that don’t grow them until their 20-30’s but keep their hair 🤔🤷🏽♂️

I have been wearing a beard since last 3 years. During my initial stage of growing my beard, I used to go to barber shops for trim/maintenance. But they always end up ruining my beard. Either they cut it too short or they would fail to give me my desired look. So finally I decided to give it a try and do it myself. And since then I've been trimming my beard myself and I like it. So my point is every beardman should know how to trim/maintain their own beard. So give it a try if you haven't already. I'm not saying all barbers bad. @@TimBelchamber most I’ve grown is probably about 7 week. It’s mainly the chin area I dislike. Side profile it looks okay (gives me a better jawline) but straight on you see my chin thru the beard in certain lighting, especially up close. Not sure if that improves with further growth or it’ll look worst. It’s definitely not awful and I’ve seen worst it’s just awful for my standards... Your beard is sick tho, really suits you.
Thanks! I actually have a bit of a bald/thin patch centre chin like you. Melanie (my gf) has done styling in the past and encouraged me to fill it in by growing my neck in underneath. Without it as my beard got longer I got a little thin strip down the middle. If there’s anything I’ve learnt from this it’s that nature dishes you out with a random combination and you have to find your groove and work out what you like. Maybe go see a beard stylist once and get some in person advice from someone that deals with this daily. Design a style that works with your characteristics rather than trying to fit a style that might not be you.
