I have Guerlain Homme L'eau Boisee and absolutely love that vetiver/lime combo. The opening to me is such a juicy, zingy lime. Addicting. I've been eyeing Homme EDP for a while, and it's good to hear it's one of your best too. I'm college age and heard Homme EDP is slightly more mature, but I don't think it'd be a big problem. I am also a sucker for lists lol. Individual reviews alongside can still be good.
It should be labled "Office fragrances" imo,so that it dont excludes some of us who "work" in the industrial sector in a overall hands on aproach getting dirty Thats why wearing Coolwater wave, issey intense, perri ellis red 360 as an work scent sounds weird, but works perfectly in my situation lol. Even a weak scent like nautica voyage pops when i wear it at work due to the high temp .
Thank you for your opinion. I have Floris No. 89 and Versace Pour Homme. I do love my Citrus scents. They are great for South Florida b/c we don't have winter. I've seen some of the other fragrances that you mentioned, so I will try to pick up some samples.
So I’m scanning through your pics and every single one are tops for me. One I own and extremely underrated is Cartier l’Envol which is fantastic and another since you like egoiste is the original Allure Homme in clear bottle. It’s timeless and not a flanker, like the rest.
You have become my favorite reviewer! I’m shocked more people don’t talk about 1828. Now when it comes to Knize forest which one is more brisk and Forest like?
Great list. Some of my fav frags and lots of variety for the office setting. I tend to err on the side of caution at work (frontline healthcare: in case patients read too much into what I'm wearing or it distracts from clinical interview) so just go with lower sillage scents like Nautica Voyage, Coach for men or Polo Blue that keep me smelling fresh by end of the day. GIT is really great but projects a bit too much for me- so I use Banana Republic Grassland as an alternative, but that is also a little powdery so tend to go with blue frags and just use it occasionally. Versace pour Homme also a nice blue frag but I get a fair bit of sillage from it so will tend to use it on days off or after work. Should also add that HdP 1828 is a really interesting selection, haven't tried it, but will give it a sample
I own a clone of Dia Man from Fragrenza because I really can't afford the original from Amouage. If it's anything close to the original than it's damn good. I can't not speak highly enough about it. Great video!
I have the Sandalo EDP. The opening is a clean citrus and lavender, but dry's down to a warm spicy, almost "ginger-bread" cookie smell. If a hot and fresh ginger bread cookie was made from sandalwood hahaha.
A very solid list I must say. Just discovered your channel and so far I like it. Just a question, are you a doctor? And if not do you think a doctor can pull these scents in a hospital/clinic setting?
Histoires de Parfums 1828 is great also try 1725 and This is not a blue bottle 1/.5 & This Is Not A Blue Bottle 1/.1 all great work scents. And Dia is one o my favorites but I would add Beloved Man to this list, and last but not least Acqua di Parma Oud is a super workhorse.
@@UrbanDwellerNYC That was my first impresion as well but than I wore it for a full day and it made me feel wealthy, since that I've been in love with it. But I get it if it's not your cup of tea.
This sums up Chanel Platinum Egoiste for me: a hybrid of Creed Green Irish Tweed DNA and a generic Fougere DNA, and together they produce an unrelenting metallic accord. The metallic accord is a bit too much for me. I'm still trying to learn to like it. I think Guerlain Homme could work as an office scent because its performance is such a whisper. Very weak projection and longevity. Homme L'eau Boisée is better because the extra wood accords sustain performance better. I don't remember Homme having much of that famous Guerlain-ade DNA, like the classics. I can smell it in Habit Rouge and Heritage - that vanilic oriental accord. But I need to revisit the Homme line, maybe I forgot. I just figured that under new leadership and ownership Guerlain had changed direction and lost the classic Guerlain-ade. I agree with the "subdued elegance" of Floris No. 89. I call it the quintessential mid-century English Gentleman Cologne. Subdued, reserved, refined, elegance is all part of that. But it is VERY mid-century classic. Not modern. I like that but it would be a niche office wear.
First impression most will say yes. PE is sharp metallic, thus colder & very herbal. It’s very clean smelling. ATB is more rounder, warmer, not metallic. I think the main difference is the tonka in the base. Actually smells like a barbershop
You never said which Amouage that is. You put the bottle in the camera but I couldn't see a name. I kept thinking you'd say the name and you never did. What‽!!!!! Did I miss it?
Guerlain Homme EDP has been my go to signature for the warmish humid days, late dry down is so good when the clary sage and nutmeg come through.
The list we have been waiting for!!!!!
The unfortunate reality is everybody likes lists even though I like doing individual reviews - I learn more from doing them too haha

I've never tried GIT but Tres Nuit is pretty good. I don't think I need to shell out $200(50ml) to get the similar results as a $20 bottle.

Thank you. And you mean Knize Forest vs 1828? I do think Knize is a little harsher, a bit more synthetic feeling. 1828 would be the better buy ")
Preferred scent of Ian Fleming? I definitely gotta get that one
CHANEL Platinum Egoiste is like CK Eternity in Steriods hehe.
Please review the Issey Miyake Sport

Thanks! What’s the rush? 😆
I'm quite surprised that Dior Homme 2020 is not in the list!

Been wanting to try those Histoires thanks! I actually just got a sample of Beloved and it’s not for me! 😭

Thank You For The Education... Love 1725...
Great list! Thank you
Looking at the selection it was an instant subscribe, better later than never :)
Go to for me IS eau de Rochas pour homme
Thank you!!!
Pour Monsieur or Platinum Egoiste?
Top top top 👍 thanks
What is the different between Platinum Egoiste and Prada L'homme?
both are clean scents, Platinum is more sophisticated , more upscale...
@@nosphy Thank you. I already had Prada L'Homme and finally bought the decant of Platinum and love it and bought the full bottle
@@nixland it s my sotd🙂Platinum is a bomb on wormer days.....i just love it....good performance too, don t overspray it, it can become cloying

Have you tried Eau Sauvage Parfum? It’s what you wear if you want to smell like a CEO.
I have at the barbers. Is platinum egoiste similar?

GIT is strong soapy. It’s not a heavy fragrance, but because it’s a soap scent it’s pungent in nature & will irritate some peoples nose.
Good taste. Subbed 👍🏼.
Subbed to your channel as well man! Nice to have such a great enthusiastic community

Dia Man!
GIT is so stinky imo, i hate that one. My favourites with pretty bad performance are Dior Homme Cologne and CAHEB.
need dior sauvage in there
