- Ben Starav is a Scottish mountain in the Highlands lying south of Glen Etive that rises to its full 1,078-metre height above Loch Etive at its western foot. With Mrs OTATScotland away i took the chance to get in a QMD.

Great vid pal. You should have kept this one for a fine day. I did the 3 in glorious sunshine. One of the best outings I have had on the hills. I wont go up on the hills unless theirs a high chance of clear tops. Its just not worth it. Cheers

Awesome adventure, thanks for sharing. Last time I went up Ben Starav was 2010 I think! Not sure my view from the summit was any better than yours though. Good shout with all the safety stuff. :-)
Julian Baird - Landscape Photography I really think it’s one to do again in better conditions. It’s got the feeling of having something special, I’m sure the view from the top is superb.

Walk With Wallace Thanks Robin. Yeah the ridge would be a bit tricky for him. There is a bypass path which I’m sure you noticed. The colours up in Glen Etive are really nice at the moment. Thanks again mate. 😀🙏

Right guys, DO NOT OPEN BEER BITTLES WITH YOUR CAR KEYS! My dad once had to make a 150km detour to get a spare key in a middle of his road trip.
