This is the coolest. I have a 1:10 scale model radio-controlled 1977 Buick Regal coupe. I just got my old 2+ mph toy chassis (by the RIMZ brand) replaced with this Traxxas chassis. I didn't get the 70+ mph version. But mine is the 30+ mph car... Lol STILL too much speed for my old Buick Regal. ✈🚥🚦👊😎
Not everybody is a Ford guy so this is cool. Guys are already bending the the aluminum shaft which is no surprise I'm glad they stepped it up on that an the turnbuckles. With HPI still in limbo 190mm bodies have way more options. Anybody try a 190 body on here yet?
Should I go for the titan setup and then immediately swap it out for a hobbywing max 10 esc with either a 3660 sl 3200kv 3s motor (combo would cost 140) or get a 4268sd 4s motor (esc can run 2-4s combo would cost 240). The vxl system costs 200 dollars and is 3s. If I don’t use the titan system is the vxl system fast enough and would the car be able to run 4s without replacing a bunch of items like diff, clutch, drive shaft, axles, and gears. I would probably also just go with a different set of tires (db hoon tires). Also do you think the 3.0 chassis is better for handling?
Hello and great video! Two questions if you don't mind. What battery and charger would you recommend for this car, and what are the websites for the bodies?
Robert Thompson personally I would recommend the 3s 5000mah traxxas battery with the ez-peck plus charger and the body's you can find on eBay, cheaper and so many kinds of body's to choose from!
My car is 1/10 FORD GT RTR. I would like to buy the Car shell of FORD MUSTANG. Could you tell me whether the shell can fit my car or not ? Besides, is there any useful accessory I need to buy? Thanks.
Thanks for posting this. I have the exact box. I've had nothing but problems with my Traxxas 4Tec 2.0. I posted a video of the problems that I've had. @NEE8
I wish Traxxas would sell true race ready offroad buggies. Maybe say a 17.5t 2wd buggy and a 13.5t 4wd. They might spur a resurgence in spec racing like the good old days of the slash, but with more staying power since 2wd buggy never fades away.
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT you can get a Jeep body from proline and they'll have almost every wheelbase because it's so popular. You will need to raise your body posts and do custom cut mounting holes but yes there are
Any idea why Tower Hobbies Traxxas keeps showing discontinued items? Because it seems like everything pops up and as soon as it pops up it shows up discontinued. Any help will be greatly appreciated
I just wonder why they call it 4-tec 2,0. The very first 4-tec was 4wd nitro version (have one my self) So calling this one 2,0 is misleading sens it's two completely two different cars. But if it is half as good as the nitro version, man people gonna have a great time.
This unboxing is the best video for that car ever made! Thank you
Traxxas is my favorite manufacturer!!!
BlackMetal-RC85 Do you know they’re really good
@@elliottkoons7342 they are good! but others too!
@@BlackMetalRC85traxxas is the best

Im getting mine soon but i am getting a volvo 242d body for mine
CAN'T WAIT TO BUY ONE!!!!!!
Anybody have a part # for the better tires...?
You can remove a little plastic part to get more steering angle.

Can I know how to adjust the ride height for this model? Thanks.
new this was coming. preorder or is it available?
Smalls legend I just found out after ordering it they're already out atleast in Texas
Metal driveshafts?
If you will please list the part numbers of the steel driveshaft and the new spur and pinion gear
Brett Fowler the parts list and exploded views are at Traxxas.com
I don't think Traxxas updated the site yet still only shows the aluminum #8355x driveshaft.
why you re-upload i'm sure i saw this like 2-3 days ago?
Whats your top end speed with a 3s lipo stock?

okcrc Traxxas did make a couple of pro race 2wd buggies back in the 80's-early 90's.
Yep, TRX-1, TRX-3, and "TCP"--Total Competition Package.
@@AirAgeMedia1 rcca was way better back in the day

Tim Sullivan I heard they got sewed from traxxas so they won't have parts available anymore
EDGARRIVALKING 562 why'd they get sued
Matthew Min not really sure. I just saw it on a facebook page. Think beacsue they where selling a car that looks exactly the same as the e revo

Nikuros back in the nineties they had an electric 4 tec
Hey! They call this chassis 4-tec 2.0 because its actually inspired for the original 4-tec
Reviews electric on road rc car that that runs at 70+ mph. Checks out everything else first
