Just finished building this as my first gundam built ever, love the process, loved the details and everything. The only issue I had was the stickers. The F 91 stickers especially were really tough to get on and they unfortunately got messed up so I replaced them when other stickers. Amazing gundam build, would recommend. Good video btw
Hey Jabman! I looked to see if you had a review of this new model kit, because I just bought one at Arkansas ComicCon this weekend. When I saw it, my mind just blew up because it never crossed my mind that they would do a 2.0 of my favorite Gundam. Thanks for the review!
I don't care what the haters say this kit is straight up awesome I may get the 1.0 just for the stand and then get the new P-Bandai add-on cannons and paint the extra one as a Harrison Custom awww sh*t! F91 in FULL EFFECT!
Great review, as always. Only thing I feel like they should have included with this 2.0 that wasn't was the large beam that is built into the left forearm. Missed opportunity, both times.
im going to paint the below the chest of it in silver and coating it with light cream WHITE color and the WHITE parts will be color coffee i mean like light desert because i want to be a battle damage paint not total damage just like scratches.... it will be awesome :)
Jabman, do you have MG Nemo? There's a definite vacuum regarding MG Nemo reviews, and I as well as anyone else interested would love to hear your take.
Got mine in the mail today, havent opened was finishing a Red Beret (great kit btw). I've heard the knee articulation is'nt as good as the 1.0, is that true or does it just move a little differently?
Do you topcoat your kits at all? I'm just getting into painting and really like the way your kits look at the end. So I'm trying to figure out what kind of top coat to use. Thanks!
Jus recently built the HG F91 and saw this at only £55 and I'm not going to lie, it is very tempting, though, I mostly do RGs... They also had the Ez-8, the HG of which I got at the same time as the F91, only £40... Again, tempting, though, I probably won't seeing as I already have the Ez-8, but I like the F91, it was a great unit in Dynasty Warriors Gundam...
9:00 Looking at 1.0 and 2.0 side by side. I think I'm good with my 1.0, I like the slender look more. 2.0 Looks pudgier for me, its more line art accurate.
It actually annoys me to no end when the kit has a1 and a2 connected because it says to grab from a2 and i look and am like am i missing a friggen runner? then i go to the front and realize they were connected
Correct me if I'm wrong but don't you disqualify kits for Kit of the year if they break a piece out of the box aka the Bazooka? If referring to your 00 Qan[T] review but that was 7 yrs ago. Otherwise this is a very solid yet even though I wasn't very much a fan of f91
Oh...and da, one more thing: OO Qan[T]: u said no mg kit of the yr for me cuz a piece of me broke out of the box but f91's bazooka broke and u still crowned him the new leader.
I'm definitely going to have to get this because man did my mg f91 get fragile because of the abs frame Also you completely forgot to put in the grey pieces in the back
Ersyad Adhimakayasa ok so after building it the legs have more articulation than it seems it just requires some finagling so the leg has three points of articulation so a bend up on the top of the knee one on the bottom and then there is a part that extends the leg and gives it a bigger bend from standing the leg can almost touch the back of the kit
The biggest shortsight on this kit is that the knee bend is only 90 degrees. That's kinda a big deal since the last MG that had that problem was the MG Unicorn and it had a transformable frame, so idk what this kit's excuse is for only having a 90 degree bend at the the knees.
yuyuhaio ... So you're off buying the old one instead of buying the much sturdier, and closer to the lineart version? That's a pretty shallow reason not to buy a GunPla.
Actually I pre-ordered it when it was announced. I'm still happy it got a remake, but I am not happy that it's flexibility is regressing when it is a 2.0. Besides for me posability is king. If a kit can kneel it is perfect in my book.
Great job with the review. As great as this MG 2.0 update is, I'm still wondering where the MG 2.0 release for the XXXG-01W Wing Gundam (EW Ver) and the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero Custom (EW Ver) is. Those 2 definitely would benefit from an updated MG release since the ones we have now are based on the 2004 released MG XXXG-01W Wing Gundam (Ver Ka) which is notorious for not being able to hold up its weapons and having a lot of annoying things here and there. On top of that, the ones we have now don't match the quality of the other "EW Ver" released MGs.
Concidering there answer to 2.0 for the wing gundam EW was to give it a new decal sheet and change the hands, I wouldn't hold out hope for an actual 2.0 in the near future.
Maybe not for the Wing EW/Ver Ka but I could see them doing a Wing Zero Custom 2.0 to reflect the new stuff it got in Glory of Losers, make it more comparable to the Proto Zero in terms of quality and articulation, and of course offer a cheaper alternative to the Hi Res and Metal Build Wing Zero's. Funnily enough we did get a metal build F91 before the 2.0, and they carried over a lot of the details. So yeah, it might happen!
@ Sono Yes. That's exactly what I was thinking with an MG 2.0 of the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero Custom (EW Ver). Transformation, shield, etc. Giving it hands that can hold the Twin Buster Rifle would be nice. Then they could (if they want) just do a P-Bandai recolor of that 2.0 to do an MG 2.0 XXXG-01W Wing Gundam (EW Ver).
@ MrFlunkorg If you read the Glory of the Losers manga, you'd know that the manga changed *a lot* ; enough to warrant an MG 2.0 of the XXXG-00W0 Wing Gundam Zero Custom (EW Ver), and of course Bandai could do a P-Bandai release of that to do an MG 2.0 XXXG-01W Wing Gundam (EW Ver)
I have a question and I don’t mean it in a disrespectful way, is that original F91 MG dirty or something? Or is it cause you smoke? Or maybe it was the sun? Don’t know if it was just my eyes playing games on me but it looked very yellow next to the new one and I have a genuine fear that after a while my kits may get yellowed out i have them stored deep in a shelf of my closet but they get dusty very quickly and i was wondering if they could get damaged if not cleaned properly
i believe white parts tends to get yellow-ish if you don't clean it regularly (like at least once a year or so). i have an Aile Strike RM. built in 2014 and now its armor is a tiny bit yellowy because i never cleaned it.
Ersyad Adhimakayasa I’ll have to keep that in mind man, cause I just couldn’t stand having my kits discolored I think I would just throw them in the trash cause I know for sure i don’t have the skill to paint them 😂 thank you for helpful advice
Wait...a piece broke out of the box. Like what you said in your 00 Quanta video, if something breaks right out of the box, it can't be kit of the year under your rules. Otherwise 00 Quanta would have been 2010 kit of the year. So therefore there is no leader for 2018 kit of the year. We know the MG Jegan is on the way, and if Bandai pulled all the stops on that bad girl, it'll be 2018's kit of the year.
Hey jabman when u reviewed MG Qant you said when a part broke its not a kit of the year contender. Now F91 has a broken part but still a kit of the year. Why?
this may have been my fault don't know, but either way it works fine and was an easy fix, the Qant forced me to glue a part that is meant to come off and be used as for display purposes, it was not an easy fix and has permantly hampered the kit moving forward
@@jabman025 ok. As long as it doesn't affect its articulation, gimmicks and functionality. Its fine. I personally dont like QANT. And im happy that wing 01 won that kit of the year
Love this kit. So underrated and solid as can be. Would love to eventually get the add-on kit and the Harrison Custom. One day....one day.
Just finished building this as my first gundam built ever, love the process, loved the details and everything. The only issue I had was the stickers. Awesome, I’ve been looking forward to your review of the 2.0!
Still waiting on that NT-1 2.0
Wireless_Phantom it has came
its annouced together with the zaku 2 from war in the pocket as a RE1/100 kit.
Hey Jabman! I looked to see if you had a review of this new model kit, because I just bought one at Arkansas ComicCon this weekend. When I saw it, my mind just blew up because it never crossed my mind that they would do a 2.0 of my favorite Gundam. Thanks for the review!
With a little luck they could reuse the frame to give us a 2.0 of the Crossbone Gundam and it's variants.
😂😂😂😂 that is the best “oh, and one more thing....” u have done yet!! By far the best one!!
Your prediction on the F91 Afterimage P-Bandai came true!
I don't care what the haters say this kit is straight up awesome I may get the 1.0 just for the stand and then get the new P-Bandai add-on cannons and paint the extra one as a Harrison Custom awww sh*t! F91 in FULL EFFECT!
Talk about upgrade. I am really tempted picking this one.
For $36, this kit is totally worth it by the looks of it. Mine should be here in the next few days, despite a lengthy delay in shipping.
Great review, as always. Only thing I feel like they should have included with this 2.0 that wasn't was the large beam that is built into the left forearm. Missed opportunity, both times.
i really like the proportions on the 2.0
Great review good sir.
I think you missed the backpack piece that's why the copper pieces look like it's floating
I did my bad
I think it looks better without the backpack piece, the copper pieces just floating there looks good.
it would make additional shine with the led too, would really make the copper light up even more.
He never pay attention to the manual, never
He lives life on the edge.
Now what would be really cool would be a p bandai nearly completely clear yellow f91 to simulate it well going fast (can't think of the actual mode)
F91 is one of my favorites
with each new master grade, i think i'm becoming more and more impressed with bandai and how they produce these things.
im going to paint the below the chest of it in silver and coating it with light cream WHITE color and the WHITE parts will be color coffee i mean like light desert because i want to be a battle damage paint not total damage just like scratches.... it will be awesome :)
I’ll have both cause I have the 1.0 already I do feel the need to by this.
I just noticed that this video came out on my birthday lol

Do you topcoat your kits at all? I'm just getting into painting and really like the way your kits look at the end. So I'm trying to figure out what kind of top coat to use. Thanks!
on a straight build like this no, but on custom kits yes I have found the best top coat is Mr Super Clear, just my opinion
awesome....

The quanta broke doing exactly what the manual said to do, f91 bazooka broke because I tried something the manual didn't say to do
Waiting for Harrison version...
Hopefully not P bandai though
I'm definitely going to have to get this because man did my mg f91 get fragile because of the abs frame
Also you completely forgot to put in the grey pieces in the back
my bad
I was gonna say... I wasn't sure if that was a personal choice on your end or not.
Jetfire48 mine as well. Both the regular and harrison martin
It a fucking model kit
Same dude. The second I was finishing the 2.0, I picked the 1.0 and it fell apart in my hands.
I just realized:
Is it possible that we might get Crossbone 2.0s now with the frame of this kit?
starforcenetwork P BANDAI
Can you show us your collection when you make your 150th MG?
hello there jabman
why no size comparison on vdash and sazabi
do gnx 3 a laws ver or the exia avalanche
Where the heck can I get the stand and lighting?
you forgot to mention the quite limited leg articulation that made me kinda glad that i can handle my impulsiveness and didn't pre-order this kit...
Ersyad Adhimakayasa ok so after building it the legs have more articulation than it seems it just requires some finagling so the leg has three points of articulation so a bend up on the top of the knee one on the bottom and then there is a part that extends the leg and gives it a bigger bend from standing the leg can almost touch the back of the kit
hey jabman would there be a chance that you could review Astray Turn Red?
Already have but ur was a long time ago..... one of my first reviews
The biggest shortsight on this kit is that the knee bend is only 90 degrees. That's kinda a big deal since the last MG that had that problem was the MG Unicorn and it had a transformable frame, so idk what this kit's excuse is for only having a 90 degree bend at the the knees.
To be fair it's a little over 90
Doesn't need it that much since F91 should stay in the air.
Doesn't matter to me. We shouldn't be regressing into MG kits with less articulation. Especially 2.0 kits.
yuyuhaio ... So you're off buying the old one instead of buying the much sturdier, and closer to the lineart version? That's a pretty shallow reason not to buy a GunPla.

Small question,it has the stand but does it have the base or is it just the pole piece in this box
there is a platform base in there somewhere
@@jabman025 Thanks for the info.Couldnt find it anywhere.
you forgot the 4 D2 27 parts on the back thrusters
That is what im thinking too
also disappointing always in kits the LED is sold separately :( :(
Does this light up? I saw a model that lit up
Mizthi David if it has a lighting kit. The kit though is around $20 from Bandai and I am sure you can find a similar kit for cheaper
@@nediojon749 Thank you!
click on the video link at 11:42
You miss some pieces in the backpack!!!!!
I love the f91, except the face. The opened face is weird and the normal face looks weird because it sticks out so far to cover the inner face.
Great video. Do they make the instructions in English?
big shatzo no but most of the time easy picture instructions
the manuals are in international standard lego/ikea supplemented with japanese.
more and more english is creeping into the text each year, though
What gundam did you hate the most
MG dynames when?
One of the new kits?
Black note A 2.0 to be specific of another kit.
So, both are good kits but the 2.0 is the better one
Sergio Moroyoki yeah by an inch
It’s no kit killer
Someoone's not cleaning their kits......
145 master grades? i only have like 30 :(
That's still a lot, lol.
Great job with the review.
