One of the best if not the most beautiful American cemetery outside the US. This is testament to the enduring friendship between the USA and the Philippines. Forged in the blood and toil for freedom, here lies the mortal remains of the heroes who died for us to live in a happy, just and freedom-loving society. Thank you America, we are forever indebted to you and we will never forget.

As an American living in the Philippines, I have visited this site many times. Never have I been able to enter these grounds without shedding tears, thankful for the sacrifices made by young men and women, to free the world from oppression and facism.

Never been there yet but have seen a number of vlogs on the Manila American Cemetery. Yours is the most informative and thoughtful. And i didn't know there are also Stars of David instead of crosses there. Not surprising as i'm sure there were many Jews who fought in WW2 also. And I'm sure many more whose names are engraved on those walls are Jewish too. ✡

Hi again, thanks for your comment and the compliment - I appreciate it. I've just looked at the video again and can't see on the walls of the missing that the religion is mentioned but I agree there must be many named on the wall too. Thanks for watching 😊

Agreed. I have been to the cemetery a couple of times and seen a number of videos like this but this one is the best. The attention to the detail on the mosaics is appreciated. Also the mosaic of the woman in the chapel is amazing. It is about 4 stories high. Thank you for the well crafted video. This is a beautiful place and not on the same scale of size as Arlington, it rivals it's beauty.

My unaccounted for Great-Uncle died as a POW at Cabanatuan during WW2. A couple of unknowns graves were exhumed at this cemetery by the DPAA to try to identify his remains using DNA techniques just before the pandemic. Our family is still waiting for results.

The memorial is fronting Bataan where you can see the giant cross of the Bataan war memorial. But today's development you can't see it anymore.

So Americans thank our Government that they gave a nice grave for those americans who died on world war ll.
That's why our President Ferdinad Marcos Sr.told them that its good we didn't dump those american soldiers anywhere and thank us we put them in a nice grave.
See how nice the Filipino is.
