Nice build. I just built mine yesterday with the 9700X I got from Newegg for $229! I still can't believe I got it for such a low price! I've done some video editing this morning, and it's so fast ( I was using an i7 7700k).

Same. I hope its priced really well because the RT performance increase of 45% is sounding really good and there will be no 8900 XT so I’m worried it would be priced too high as it will be the flagship for RDNA 4

I have the 7800XT paired with an i7-12700, but no high refresh rate monitor yet. Runs everything I've thrown at it in 4K ultra settings at 60fps locked (except MS Flight Sim, so I use frame gen for that). Good enough for me until I can get a 1440p high refresh rate monitor!

Btw for competitive games like CS2, it would be better to show the performance in competitive resolutions because 1440 isn't the standard. I'd love to see the performance in low settings 1280x960 :D
I would just install windows on your fastest drive but for games it does not really matter there wont really be a noticeable difference on either drive.
I have seen the 7800 XT for as low as 370 USD, brand new (it also required an Amazon Prime membership, which you could just have refunded immediately after making your purchase if you didn't want it). What the cable is rated for, and what is delivers, can be quite different. From most people's experience, it's fine. However, 2 separate cables would be safest.
