Definitely one of my favorite tracks as well.
Very good song for applying new techniques, like palm muting in this case. I'm not sure if originally is played in this way. Probably some foam is used to mute the strings, but i liked the palm muting best for the tone in my bass. That may change in other basses. You have about 3 or 4 line motifs to follow here. The song overall is really good for applying some techniques, while having the difficulty of keeping a muted sound. Porbably you'll need lots of concentration on the rhythmic aspect. Song is in E Natural Minor (with use of the Major V grade from Harmonic Minor) with constant use of the major IV grade, creating a Dorian approach by modal interchange (in other words borrowing the chord from E Dorian (coming from D Major)):

Oooh, even if this was great, I was somewhat disappointed that it wasn't the swedish hard rock band Talisman. They have a bunch of great songs and the band's bassist Marcel Jacob (RIP) was kind of a master at his instrument.
