Ortega can't take those heavy punches lets be real he was getting dropped by Yair who has not half as good boxing as Topuria and Ortega is not taking down Topuria with that weak wrestling. Ortega is the easiest match up for Topuria in the top 5. Max, Movsar or even Arnold Allen has better chance against Topuria than Ortega.

As a boxer, I’ve always loved studying every other combat form..I love to learn anything and everything I can. I learned some great little Gems from this video, and it was also refreshing to see Brian come thru so much adversity and come out on top, as well as being so humble in victory.

When you post those elbows on the mat, it makes D’arces absolutely concrete the way he used that with an arm triangle is going straight into the ole notebook. Pull those shoulder blades together and use that forearm like a blade, work it back and forth into the neck. Absolutely brutal. Well done, T-City.

When I think of Ortega I remember the fight he had with Volk. Dude held his own in the standup and actually caught volk in like 3 submissions where each time everybody thought it was all over for Volk. This was super savage prime volk, and we almost had a new champion that night multiple times during the fight. It shows to me that having a base of gracie bjj training can land you a championship or contender spot for the best fighter in the world, in the worlds most Prestigeous combat sports organization. Unfortunately Volk that night just had or has such superior gas tank than most other athletes. But if it wasn't for Volk gooning it up with shere strength and genetic superiority we would of had a champ. I hope Ortega gets a title shot in his next fight. I was screaming so hard for him that night he fought Volk, it wasn't necessarily a disappointment he lost, through a fans perspective, but it was a damn good fight. This was also a damn good fight. I am glad Ortega has recovered from past fights and is still competing in prime form. Bravo!
