Synopsis
Chihaya, Taichi and Arata are childhood friends, bound by their passion for “competitive karuta.”
The unforgettable summer of the Competitive Karuta Club, aiming for the nationwide competition at final year of high school.
Chihaya struggles to win a long-awaited new recruitment, the absolute wall that stands out for the awesomeness, and Taichi who quit suddenly the Karuta Club. The destiny of the three childhood friends now moves toward their respective future.

Watch this from part 1 to 3 ...still dont understand about karuta but theyre so cool when playing..all the characters are amazing...they have their own charisma esp. The queen she is the best
...personally i prefer chihaya ends up with taichi..and arata king is perfect with queen

Arata is sort of set from the start
Arata is sort of her main romantic interest from the start so I guess Arata. That's who the Manga is going with at least, it seems.

i don't know about the film but taichi and chihaya are the main main characters in the manga/anime. arata is just main but less relevant and less developed as a character

@@MusiicRoolz Where did you get the idea the only chihaya and taichi are the main characters? Just because he didnt het enough screen time at the start doesnt mean he is irrelevant.
The fact that Chihaya and Arata describe each other with the chihayafuru card which is the name of the series and he has much impact in the later part of the story shows why he in one of the trio.
You biased haters need to relax.

if I'm to pick only two as main characters, i will say Taichi over Arata.
