The Twist is a great variation on the Muhle R89, makes sense as a traveling razor. For Proraso I like green, red and blue, I prefer jars because they are easier to store in my den. Slow roasting bodies in the Cemetery did you say!!! 😮 Great traveling shave Sig🤟🤠👍
Thanks, Mate! I have about 6 different R89’s. They are all great. Two were purchase on Shave It handles… I wish the Blue came in a jar also. Thanks for watching! 🤙 #WAD
Thanks, Buddy! Indeed a great shave! I thought she was kidding about the hot soil at first, but after checking I found that is actually a common problem in Iceland... 🙃 Thanks for watching! 🤙 #WAD
Nice travel shave. I usually take a shave stick such as lea or Palmolive but recently taking the small tube of Lea cream. That and a synthetic is pretty fuss free although basic. I took a gamechanger .84 last travel and prior 37 c. My next travel will be a 6c most likely. The R89 twist makes sense for travel. I have a DE86 which is same head with black handle. That would be good too. Hey did you hear that blackland will be releasing the long handle in TI? I think you mentioned previously you hoped they would make it. I have the long handle in SS and enjoy it. It was mentioned in Oct update via email list. No eta but in production when update was sent. Cheers!
Thanks, Buddy! Some nice stuff you bring on your travels. I hadn't heard that Blackland will be making a 4'' handle for the Ti. As you said the SS ones are great with the long handles!! I'll go look for the up-date mail again. Thought it was all about the over-priced and poor finished Osprey...🙃 Thanks for watching! 🤙 #WAD
Great shave Brother!! Love Proraso Green, especially the balm! I’m terrible at face lathering, so I always use a bowl, but you’re better at it than me for sure haha Hope your trip in Iceland is going good and have a great weekend! 💈🤘🏻 Btw, I don’t bring bring any shave stuff with me when I travel, that way the razor gets a workout when I get back home! #WAD
Thanks, Brother! I'm terrible, too. And I make a terrible everywhere!! The trip is fantastic! Not shaving on a holiday? Naah... I always bring shaving stuff...🙃 Thanks for watching! 🤙 #WAD
Great Sig! I don't face lather because my skin is too sensitive for that kind of scrubbing, but I learned that the hard way-lol. The R89 has the same head as the Muhle I started with and it's a good razor, but a little too mild for me. I jumped straight into slant razors after that one and it really cut down on the amount of strokes it took to get a smooth shave. I'd love to visit Iceland sometime as I've heard it's a pretty cool place from a friend of mine who was from there. Time is really flying by and you're almost in the season where the jolakotturinn will be snacking on ungrateful children! Ha ha! I hadn't thought about it, but you're not too far from home and is Iceland considered Greenland's sister country?
Thanks, Brother! I agree on the face lather. My face doesn't agree with it either! I should be going home safe before the Jolakotturinn start his chase! 🙃 I'd say that Iceland is considered a good neighbour (that also was a colony under Danish rule un till 1944) Thanks for watching! 🤙 #WAD
Don't have the brush always wanted to try one, I always face lather, because very time i try bowl lather i get more irritations because i don't get the lather and beard work enough. My favorite scent is Sandalwood.
Thanks, Buddy! The 830 takes some time to break in, but once it's done it's one the best boar brushes. However most boar brushes perform well after the break-in period... Sandalwood is in my top 3, too!! Thanks for watching! 🤙 #WAD
Top video Sig , I’ve been watching your razor reviews lately and I’m undecided about 3 razors ( blackbird with safety -bar NOT the lite virgin, and the Design94, Muhle r89) with one of the 3 is the more efficient. I don’t want to spend too much time doing mire than two passes in a single shave ? Your honest reply is very appreciated ; ) ✌️😉
Thanks, Buddy! I'd say that they are all great razors. The Blackbird is probably the most efficient most also the most blade feely of the three. The Design94 is very efficient, too; but fat smoother. The R89 is the mildest of the three, but super smooth and comfortable. Because of the lower price and the guarantied smooth and safe (nick and irritation free) shave the R89 always travel with me. Thanks for watching! 🤙 #WAD
I don't like the proraso tubs I tried the sandal wood which I love but chunks of it becomes like sandy and it's very hard to lather and it becomes wasteful. I will buy the proraso cream in the tube or bag next time. Hope you had a great vacation. I usually bring the weishi butterfly razor but thinking of buying the Wilkinson sword razor next time. I bring my yaqi synthetic brush and face lather with either an arko stick or soap/ cream in a paa sample container or tube of cream.
Thanks, Buddy! I prefer the Proraso creams, too. Much easier to lather and control. This wasn't a vacation, but a work related travel meeting up with with collegues from all the Nordic countries and Balticum. Iceland is beautiful and welcoming work or vacation, none the less!!🙃 Sounds like you have your travel gear figured out. Some good items! I never bring PAA products anywhere, but that a story for an other time... Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend! 🤙 #WAD
#1. I don't have a favorite travel razor mainly because I haven't traveled anywhere. That said, last year, Black Friday at Ollie's Discount Center, I bought a King C Gillette Gift Box. It was reduced to $1.48 from. $15.00. It has a glorified Fusion 5 Blade cartridge razor. The point is, if I go somewhere, I won't have to worry about it being confiscated by TSA🤬. Otherwise, I have an actual Gillette Tech Travel Kit from the 1960s that I might carry. #2. In the same vein of avoiding hassles with security, I have a botte of Herbal Essence conditioner that makes an excellent shave gel shave soap/face wash. I am looking forward to the next exotic bathroom...😅 #3. I've always wanted to visit Iceland, as I hear the girls find guys like me exotic...I need all the help I can get since I ain't got no game😭
Thanks, Brother!! A cart razor for travel, hmm... I always put my shaving gear in in the checked-in luggage... I'm going to Ilulissat (North Greenland) soon after this travel and then Sisimiut (also up North) just after that. I'm thinking of bringing just an Injector razor, cream and brush to Ilulissat... Not sure it will happen. About Icelandic women... Divine, majestic, mesmerizing and gobsmackingly beautiful!!🙌 It's not about the game you have; but about the game you play...🙃 Thanks for watching! 🤙 #WAD BTW: Congrats on winning the straight razor from JJ Shaves on Friendship Shaving!
