MGSV was painfully dragged out padfest with barely any properly paced story that utilized it’s whole two maps horribly, but there was that whole divorce with Konami going on so people like me excused him for MGSV’s shortcomings. And then DS came and it became obvious - Video Jokima is just insane. Popularity got to him bad.
Hearing Higgs say "BB, I'll always watch you" when fragile was running from the bunker gave me chills. And he's the one who shot fragile. You see him hold his Chiral gold gun out with his golden gloves and black cloak on. No Timefall logo though. I don't think red mask is him. Long blonde hair says Elle fanning or somehow Amelie. Amelie was on the pole topper at the very start of the trailer.
Nope that's his cult member, see I theorise that in death stranding one fragile basically forced Higgs to spend an eternity on the beach, but seeing how Amelie brought Lou back, he must have figured a way to connect to the real world like Amelie BUT louise and fragile must be stopping him to come back to the land of the living so he makes a cult and has Louise killed. And now he is finally back. And that whole hair and makeup is his obsession with EEs. Plus if u pause at the right moment u can see Higgs' beard behind that red mask

It's the DECIMA engine from Horizon. Forbidden West already looked insane for a cross-gen title, so this seems in line with what that engine can deliver when a game is only developed with the PS5 in mind.
I'm fkin hype. I really enjoyed DS1 and spent like around 100 hours with the game building roads, bridges, timefall shelter, ladders, generators, giving upvotes, etc. Just walking in the field, crossing rivers, and while listening to BB's theme / any tracks makes me feels relax. I hope DS 2 still maintain that ASMR / relaxing aspect + connecting with other people but add more unique stuff :3
Such an incredible trailer. Loved the first game so much and the trailers for DS1 were so memorable and left you wanting to know more. Feeling the exact same way about this one and I can't wait to see how they've evolved this game from the original game.
