Not sure if it’s on the table but I would love more of this format with you guys naturally reacting to preview footage! I like the more structured previews as well when it’s really information heavy, but mixing it up like this is fun and gives more of a chance to see y’all’s personalities shine. Almost like mini direct reactions.

Agreed a mix if this and traditional previews would be awesome. Maybe do the structed previews for new IP or initial trailers when there's a lot of new info and then reaction ones like this for hype reels of known games/IPs

The blood and gore of this is probably the actual best I've ever seen In a game. There's so much blood and you can dismember unlike the original and every time you use the knife it just gushes out so much. And then the awesome cloud of blood that came out when he kicked a head off. Idk how you could even make it any better its blood and gore at the best you could ever ask for.

Everytime he does the parry an icon appear in the right conner telling you to press L1, it's quite nice the way they place the icon, the orientation is here but hidden.

Honestly when I heard about a remake I was really skeptical but my best friend who also loves Re4 said that they did right by Re2 and while it’s not on par Re3 remake is solid sp production wise. I have to say I’m glad I kept an open mind cause I can’t wait to get my hands on this game. I love everything I’m seeing here

They had specific restrictions on how long the clips could run, and as usual, you couldn't just upload the footage without commentary. But we decided that it would make more sense in this case to record our first reactions, rather than to watch and give impressions after. I honestly wasn't sure what to do with it at first since we've already done hands-on, but it worked out, I think. -Bloodworth

I get why it's gone, and it's probably for the better, but I do miss the laser.
Capcom already revealed that the laser sight is now an optional upgrade.

This gameplay is so sick!!! RE8 was great but a little too dumb even for Resident Evil. This looks like a God damn masterpiece
Looks fantastic and creepy and campy. However, the person playing sucks a lot. Their shooting the torso instead of the plaga.

The new mechanic of the game is awesome you have to upgrade 3 times your weapon instead you have to pay more for rocket luncher you know what i mean Japanese math .. i love it
I'm pretty sure the new voice of the Merchant is none other than JB Blanc, voice of Caustic in Apex Legends, Blisk in Titanfall 2 and most notably Vander in Arcane. He is awesome.

@@lotus2001 I was not aware of the fact, that it will also come out on Ps4 and XBone, though games like Horizon 2 and God of War 2 still manage to look more impressive even though those games were cross gen as well...

Almost 20 years…I recall renting and retenting this thing so much to finish it. I can’t even tell what’s unfamiliar aside from key moments and maybe that’s because it’s new. Maybe I just don’t recall well but this seems like hey it’s the best fucking RE4 out of the 20 that exist you can ever play and I hope it is

It was mentioned in that first gameplay video that ashely will be incapacitated if damaged and will die if hit in this state, The nod for Darkside chronicles makes this fight so much better
You could parry in the og? Are you referring to how you could shoot incoming projectiles?
@@The_fahadkhan You can knife arrows out of the air in the original, it happens a lot unintentionally if you are knifing enemies on the ground while being shot at by archers.
@@zachm1007 wow, ive beat the og a dozen times but never noticed this. Just goes to show how packed with details it is. This remake is gonna be a league above any other games out this year.

Seeing the TMP only having 40 shots at level 2 out of 3 is kinda weird. Wasn't 50 the standard before upgrades? Wonder if there will be more upgradelevels later on.
This feels like a cut above the original game. I'm already beyond impressed with it and I haven't even played the game.
I don't know how i feel about the reimagined knife duel with krauser. It was an epic encounter with quick time events on the gamecube. The choreography and tension was simply amazing. Seeing this whole performance getting thrown overboard is kinda a bummer for me. Gameplay wise it was getting repetitive after a couple of playthroughs since you knew what button you have to hit but yeah...
If it was getting “repetitive” then it only makes sense to make it a real-time fight. I’d much rather have the fight be a gameplay sequence than a QTE. It looks like it allows for more player mobility and creativity, and is in line with the mechanics in the rest of the game. It will also test the player’s skill after utilizing the parry mechanic up to that point. Can’t wait to try it!
@@matthewzang6688 I just hope they can capture the same essence or feel to it. That's what i am afraid of. Can't wait to get to know how the remake turns out. I played the original like 20 times back then lol.
@@TheDivingboy Nostalgia is one hell of a drug. I think the game looks absolutely amazing, and I’m feeling pretty optimistic about it. I LOVE the original, but I think people are attached to every part of it to an irrational degree. The remake looks even better so far, especially with the renewed focus on survival horror and new combat mechanics.
The originals Salazar and Krauser are better.

I wish I could get hyped for this but Re4 was the death of the series, where it turned into dumb action instead of survival horror, and this doesn't look much different. After Dead Space Remake I just can't see how this competes.
That’s a crazy take, as re4 is regarded as the best in the franchise. I can see the sentiment though, but personally, I believe this will blow dead space remake out of the water, and this seems like a serious game of the year contender
