i6 newbury, this is when TDB with Longpot and Wildman got all the way through the losers bracket to the final. The sound track and the copious doobies is what propelled The Doobie Borthers all the way there. Shout out to TBD Wedge, TDB Raist and of course Wizzo the master of Multiplay UK back in the day.
Oh shit I is was there at i6. Wasn't on the level of actually competing, was more there thanks to friends. One of whom was Lardiepies the Q3 admin. And yeah Wizzo, BGH, ArmA, TGuyver, and Bugalugs were all great guys. Fun times trying to compete in a pint downing "boat race" against uni students when you were 15.
Does anyone have the rest of the James Grote tracks? They were originally released on a series of CDs titled "Songs for Deathmatch" and are virtually impossible to find nowadays.
@@ju2067 really? Would you try ripping the tracks and uploading somewhere? I've been looking for them for a while now and they seem to be basically lost media by now. I'd be really happy if they could see the light of day again.
@@Cenobyte321thank you so much for the info man. So concludes my months long search for any trace of these CDs ever since I found out about them from Romero's .plan files and old archived websites.
