It's a great route! Just wish it was longer. I love how the road smells after rainfall, fresh and grassy!

Nice vid! I did that one in 1981 on a Kawasaki Z1R before speed cameras were invented. Should perhaps check it out again sometime.
Try the Antrim coast route in Northern Ireland. It's lush. One of many amazing biker roads here

Nice video...was up there recently on a Welsh tour. Definitely recommend hardknott pass in Cumbria and also the kielder forest road (track!) in Northumberland 👍🇬🇧

@@SaffySprocket you have to go A4086 through pen-y-pass and round to A4085 back to Beddgelert and A498 back to Capel-Curig beautiful run

It's such a fun little route! I think the only downside is that it's so short! I wish it was much longer ~ I usually like to stop off at the layby between Ponderosa and Llangollen and take in the views!

I only posted it yesterday! You saw it on the same way release ahaha ~ and it's good to be back! I have plenty of content to finish editing and upload! Starting to get into Winter now so I need to get a little creative with my content as I don't have the right bike for a long distance travel
Wow that's great you only did it the day I saw it ,make the 12000 miles between us look like a trip down the road . I've been watching Fat Lad on a Bike and the missenden Flyer but they don't laugh like you . I'll wait patiently for the next blog ,we'll not too patiently .

I have ridden a few short ones in Wales, sometimes if I have time I just turn around and do it the other way. If you meet sheep try to go around behind them, they usually go forward. North Wales goats are different they go all over the place.
I've yet to see a goat! ahahah I'll have to keep my eyes open
I like horse shoe, only I do it the other way around. Ponda for some food an a drink. Then down in to Llangollen over the bridge an right up out towards bala. I usually do a similar route every time, roughly 4/5 hour ride out
I think it doesn't matter which way round you do it as long as you're enjoying yourself!
@@SaffySprocket 100% soooo many nice roads round there. Check out B4391 outside of bala heading over to Ffestiniog as somebody else mentioned. One hell of a ride.
My suggestion is Porlock Hill
Had an encounter with a herd of beefy crash demons yesterday on the way to Matlock Bath for some fish and chips, a farmer was moving them across the road to another field
Not gonna lie, seeing sheep on the road makes me anxious for the day wolves appear from nowhere to eat them, then decide to start chasing me
Do the A483 from Dolfor to Crossgates. 20+ miles of sweeping bends

Was there 2 weeks ago and was underwhelmed with the road, but there are so many great roads in Wales, scariest was doing Devils Staircase
oh that's a shame! I've been on it 3/4 times now and I've relly enjoyed it but the only thing I don't like is just simply how short the route it is, I'd love it to be at least 10x the length ahaha - Quite a few people have suggested the Devils Staircase so I certainly think it's going to be on my to-do list
@@SaffySprocket Have you ridden to or from Llandovery to Devils Staurcase, around the Llyn Brianne reservoir,? The dam is a nice stop for s break.
@@SaffySprocket Hi Saffy only just seen this post and would suggest you try the road out of Llangollen on from the town side of the bridge, left or right at the lights onto the A5. Left is heading to Froncysyllte and the famous aqueduct then through into Chirk where there is an old castle just out of the village. The other route out of Llangollen flows beautifully along the route of the river Dee, through the small villages of Carrog then Corwen before heading into Bala. there is also a round trip along this road which brings you to the Ponderosa cafe and the horseshoe pass from the other direction. Grew up there and still ride these roads each year.. Keep up the good work.

@@ianburton518 ahhh I think I know where you mean. You go past/round the reservoir? Lovely bit if road. The road i was thinking of is just off that road on the right if your coming out of bala 10 min past the reservoir
