What is Dinkum?
Dinkum is a life simulation game similar to games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Stardew Valley. You'll start your new life on a deserted island. From there, you'll be tasked with building up a town to attract new residents! You'll gather resources, befreind animals, farm crops, and build yourself a home you can be proud of!

I highly suggest buying as many shovels as will fit on your tool belt and grab some dirt with each one THEN walk to where you want to take it. You can still use the wheelbarrow too, but doing this as well makes it go way faster.
Hi, Dan. Watched a vid by The Ginger Empire on how to get desert roses in Dinkum. Thought you might be interested. You basically put a pot or flower bed on top of a bone lying about and the pot or bed gets a rose. I think it has to be a bone that can't be picked up. Its a really short vid and worth a watch.

To add dirt, use the dirt printer, ($300,000 from Franklyn). It's dreadfully expensive but extremely handy.

On another note, thanks for a great video. I’m trying to learn gaming (bucket list- I’m old AF) so watch a ton of play-through videos.
But this one really REALLY stands out.
I didn’t grow up with these games or gamer friends to teach me, so the hardest learning curve has been rewiring my brain to ask the kinds of questions I can figure out on my own. Because it feels like cheating when I’m simply shown what to do next-and learn nothing as a result.
So instead of feeling like a cheating, frustrated noob after watching this, I came away totally encouraged~ and that is exactly what I’ve been seeking ever since challenging myself to learn gaming with zero background knowledge whatsoever-Like I might actually make it out of my tent someday! Big dreams, I know.
Something about hearing your thought process, questioning yourself about your choices and why you make them was incredibly helpful and insightful.
So thank you for making content for all levels of gamers-whether intended or not, it’s very much appreciated. After watching dozens of gaming channels I finally found one that doesn’t make me feel like I should hide in a hole. Nice community you’ve got here too.
(BTW, I mean no disrespect to content creators I’m not experienced enough to follow-when it comes to gaming I’m most confident in the fact that I have absolutely no idea what I’m doing:)
