After watching an Austrailian play this game I wanted to watch more. Glad to find your playthrough!
That cell phone you sold goes in that electrical Tower next to your tent. There are other things you will need to collect to put into their to Power It Up
Did any body else see the shark eating the dingo at the 1:50 time stamp in the top right corner
Try forging stone for cement or break termite nest.
Just for your info, GM - those critters you went stab-happy on were a tasmanian devil (recognizable by the extra-large mouth full of sharp teeth) and an echidna. Both aussie critters. Of course, in real life tasmanian devils don't shoot fireballs (actually, they're rather shy critters, and for a carnivore they're quite friendly) and echidnas don't turn into balls of spikes to attack (and they're much smaller too).
There is a good chance that those dogs that hang by your camp are actually dingos too (dogs aren't natives to Australia)
Flake is shark meat.
It's the usual standard for fish & chips in aus!
for planting trees you need to dig a hole using showel and throw the seed in to it and fill it with soil also buy the metal detecting licence and find tressures which sell for a lot and thats how you get all the old parts
Make sure you check the shop he sells machines you can’t make like a grinder. You will need this for cement :) have fun experimenting! Love this series so far.
With the bag of cement you CAN make it.... but only after the merchant moves in and lets you buy a stone grinder. Those metal drums found while wandering around has a chance to drop them when broken.(you also can get the old gears, wires and sheet metal) Its where you got your smooth slabs. That bird that tried to run you over in the jungle is called a Cassowary. Harlequin butterflies are worth the most at around 2,100 Dinks. the bugs in general are a good early game money maker.
You should get the boot license

Loving your crazy adventures, seeing how your world got laid out made me restart mine due to the first two islands it put me on were super tiny and now the new world it generated seems somewhat better. In the options a thing to click that lets you always be moving the camera with the mouse so don't need to hold shift.
This is exactly like Staxel :D When you are asking for a job too late in a day they already did it themselves :D
And laterone they were asking for lost cellphones, controlers and so on ;)
you can also adjust your mouse axis in setings
Flake is the meat you get from killing the sharks. You can cook it in campfire. An early food from the cooking table that is really good is fruit salad. You make it on the cooking table. 25 energy and some health, forgot how much health). It's just all the fruit you get from the trees. I think the constant gators and sharks were part of one of the new updates. I had them only in certain areas when I started my game now they are everywhere and 2 constant respawn beside my tents and granny goes around constantly saying, "Oh no, am I safe here?"
my advice when adjusting volumes lower master volume 1st to around 50 to 65 % then adjust specific volumes you will get more change that way

You can fix the camera thing in settings so you don't have to hold button down. Click mouse controls camera or something like that.
Running through fire, getting fire thrown at you by an almost bear - it’s been quite a video. Lol. I really love this game so far. Also, I’m not completely sure, but I think some of the weirder things you need can be found in those barrels you can break. Or at least, I think you’ve gotten some weird things from them before. So they might have some items you need? I don’t have the game yet myself so I can’t be sure. I’ll definitely be buying this one when I can, though. It looks like so much fun. 😊
I think my only big complaint right now is that if helping John is something you need to do in the beginning to grow your place, he shouldn’t be set to ask for so many advanced things yet. That seems a bit unfair. Still, this seems like a game that rewards playing around and experimentation, so maybe artificially slowly progress was intentional. And I enjoy what I’ve seen of this game regardless.
Open up the panel on the tower next to your tent " it's a fast travel station but you need atleast two of them to work" try to keep those items to repair them and sell all of the rest of the green items to make some REALLY good money, also with that get the metal detecting license " you can't get the metal detector or the crusher until you build john his shop" but if you get both levels of the metal detection you will see little "x" on the ground to dig up things, keep what you need and you can easily make 30k+ a day. The crusher will give you cement from rocks and you put the shiny stones in there too. Put a tin bar on the saw to get the sheets of metal. You don't have to take jobs from people if you don't know what they are " not sure just yet but you might lose points with them "

I think the almost bear is supposed to be a tasmanian devil. Except they don't normally shoot glowy death balls

I hope you get the animal trapping thing next. I'm guessing animal husbandry is definitely gonna be a thing and those dogs near you seem friendly enough. Might help you fight? In any case, I think this game is awesome and I'd love to see more of it!

u cant make cement till you get the grinder which you cant get till you build his shop lol
the grass seed makes animal feed for the chook i think its called , its a chicken lol it is made in the grain maker i dunno what the windmill does it may make grain too i havent seen one built yet but i also think you can make tin sheets by putting a tin bar in the table saw again not totally sure i just think i heard on a video when they were reading how to get them out loud i wasnt completely paying attention if not you can get them by destroying the medal drums

well its not the croc lol as i seen on your video its the shark lol you can stand on the shallows and kill the shark it can only get you in the deep water but the ledge it cant from what i saw on a different video.

its a Crocodile lol hurts my head when you call it an alligator, also its not an emu its a cassowary
If the music is so loud at current setting... turn down master and increase everything but the music.
