    You can take a picture of the ruby, Amber, ect. When you find them. Save the picture. Sometimes the quest board asks for a picture.

    I hope you're still planning to do that let's plan in the future. I'd really enjoy to watch that. My first attempt at the game was sloppy, it'd be nice to see how your process and how you organize yourself.

      Hi! I have been recovering from back and shoulder surgery the past few months so I haven’t been creating content. But gonna get started on it again here soon! I would love some input on the type of content you’d like to see! Been thinking about a bunch of different games but would love to see what the community wants to see!

      @@prospectz1919 Oh, goodness, hope recovery is going well!
      I still enjoy Dinkum. My other current games are Farming Together (I play on Switch & Steam), Two Point Hospital, WOW Classic, The Sims 4, & The Elder Scrolls Online. I play a lot of different stuff, going through phases. Looking forward to seeing the stuff you're into! Take care!

    Hi, i see you didnt mention that in the deep mines, you can use the torch to stun the animals(only once). It would also be best to take a Iron pickaxe or Jackhammer to the mines, they way more efficient and less time consuming.

    Another great way is to start an Apple Plantation because appletrees grow 4 fruits instead of the 3 for lime and gundong (?) or the 2 bananas. With the same amount of trees you get more fruit to cook jam from and sell it. If your plantation is out of sight you can also just plant a respective fruit in front of your house and time the harvest so the tree in front of your house is an indicator for when you can start harvesting (same applies for bee hives for example)
    Also while farming check if crops can grow and be harvested in 2 seasons. crops such as tomatoes should be planted on summer first to generate the highest possible yield throughout 2 seasons

    Fishing is by far faster. A single cooked saltwater fish is 2800 and some raw ones sell for more than that. I made 100k dink just fishing from morning to night only catching bluefish and flatheads.

      Thank you for the comment, this has given me new motivation! I will be making a comeback here soon! Been recovering from a back and shoulder surgery due to a car accident. I’m not sure if it will be Dinkum content or not though. Is there any game you’d like to see? I have been thinking Minecraft and possibly some city builder/management games. May also jump into some prison Architect. I also have been playing Valorant lately and may look into streaming that as well. But again, let me know what content you would like to see! :) Thanks again for the support!

      @@prospectz1919 sorry to hear about the car accident. I hope you're much better soon. I'm playing TOTK right now. I'll likely get back to other games in a few months. I don't have game suggestions other than Dinkum. I like farming games but haven't played Minecraft in a few years.

    Trapping worth the time?
    What are some good ideas to make money beside the mine? I don't really like the combat in the game.

    • @prospectz1919
      @prospectz1919  2 роки тому +1

      I’ve found that trapping is very time consuming and is more luck based. You could be waiting days before trapping anything.
      Running around killing different animals, like the kangaroos (I know it’s horrible but they don’t really fight back). And cooking their meat. Farming/processing the crops is also a good way to make money. Treasure hunting using a metal detector and selling the items you find is also a great way to make money!

    • @BeetleBuns
      @BeetleBuns 2 роки тому +1

      trapping is decent money if you do it right. Place a trap, then chase an animal into the trap. The best money/time ratio seems to be jackaroos, they're worth 6k each and are pretty easy to corral into the trap
      edit: jackaroos are not the best, kidnas are worth 8400 and far easier to get. 7 traps nets me 58,800 per day

    John buys used tools.

    • @prospectz1919
      @prospectz1919  2 роки тому +6

      I’ve found that holding onto the used tools to upgrade is a better use for me personally. It allows me to have multiple tools to use before having to use a repair kit as those can cost quite a bit.

    • @mblade01
      @mblade01 Рік тому

      Repair kits aren't that cost effective early on since you would rather break tools for the milestones anyways. Basic and copper tools are really really cheap to make and depending on your current progress even iron tools too. You realistically should only use repair kits for the weapons Ted Selly can craft for you since you don't really find him everyday and those weapons are pretty expensive and rare. Tools that don't have upgraded versions, the bug net and shovel, I suggest you just break the ones you have and buy spares when you can rather than saving them up for repair kits. Buying spare tools and upgrading them will always be better than buying a repair kit for the sole purpose of repairing basic/copper tools unless you're really starving on ingots because you don't like mining or whatever reason and rather just spend Dinks.

    Bit hard to make a Noob to Advanced player guide, when you don't remember how to be a noob.
    Licenses has pre requisite unlocks, a new player won't have cargo/toolbelt and others in the list until they unlock them and I don't think they even get unlocked together, so saying cargo is ahead of toolbelt is nonsense as the player may only have toolbelt unlocked.
    Craft torches, because you can place them on the ground and create light while you switch away from the held one. The bought torch is a stupidity tax on players, that make the mine more expensive.

    • @prospectz1919
      @prospectz1919  2 роки тому +4

      Thanks for your input. I’m sorry that you missed the point of the video. The video is for players who have made it past the beginning portion of the game already and are moving on to more advanced areas of the game. The guide was compiled of things that I wish I knew on my first play through.
      Yes licenses have pre-requisites as per mentioned in the video. All my play throughs, the tool belt and cargo licenses were unlocked together.
      Torches are a great way to light up the mine, but the torch you buy is brighter. You may see it as a stupidity tax, but I see it as a quality of life purchase.

      I watched his new player guide and now his advanced player guide . You had some negativ comment to say in the other video too . Might wanna reconsider your mentality , "noob" , " stupidity tax " , "nonsense" just shows what kinda poor person you are . I wanted to comment on the first video but thought "nah hes not worth it " , but now here you are again ... i thought his videos arent good why are you keep watching them ? Dont bother answering cause i will not respond .
