I got like none of them. I got Soul of cinder, Vordt, and, Gael because they're Iconic. I got Nameless King because that is the best fight I've ever had in a video game, and I got dancer and deacons by inferring from their music. I was like "This sounds elegant, Dancer." and also "This sounds like Church music, Deacons." I also got Midir because I would have youtube autoplay on at school on the Chromebooks and for some reason it would always go to Midirs theme. I got Abyss Watchers because of a Garry's Mod addon I have that gives me a bunch of DS3 snpcs, it's also how I got Friede. so that's like 9/24? Of course I've only done one full playthrough of the game so I was mostly focused on not dying during the boss fights rather than trying to listen to the music behind the manic swings of our weapons. I feel like it's easier to catch the music if it's really loud, and the boss isn't screaming at you constantly.
I'm not sure about last statement. I was once helping friend with Gael, and sounds glitched for me - there were almost no sounds except music and some sword swings. However I paid no attention to his theme until I heard a familiar melody (there is a song about Gael that resembles his soundtrack, and i recognized it). So being heard isn't enough...
I totally understand what you experienced and I think I also made this video for that. It's a way more interesting to try to find which boss it is guessing with the ambiance of the sound instead of knowing it by heart. So well played for that 9 is good !

Missed Gravetender and Halflight - I'm fine with it, I hate them in a bad way, prefer to forget everything about them. Missed Demon Prince - okay, they're the hardest boss for me in DS3, had no concentration to listen. Missed Wolnir - okay, how did I do that, his theme has quite a unique choir.
I have 2.6k hours on this game. I was able to guess every single Elden Ring theme within 6 seconds while I only have 400 hours on that game. This won't be a challenge for me, LMAO!

DS2 has too many bosses I'm pretty sure that I only know a fifth of it. And I can explain it because half bosses of this game can be killed in less than 30 seconds...
I’d love to see a mixture of questions. Like one is the OST, then a silhouette, then a cropped image of for example the weapon etc. A hardcore quiz for people like me who played way too much DS3 haha

4:53 MY EARS! WHO'S PLAYING THIS HORRIBLE MUSIC?! Yeah, I got Crystal Sage, Wolnir, and Halflight wrong. Though in my defense, Halflight's music only gets good at the...HALFWAY point. Ironically with Gundyr I couldn't remember the name not because I actually forgot Gundyr's name but because the music reminded me of his fighting style above all else so all I could say was "grunting guy with the axe".
I was kinda unsure with Vordt, but then I realized that the most iconic part is the second phase
