I'm going to wait until the LEGO 2K Drive comes out with the game of the year edition for 50%+ off.
You're better off just playing Crash Team Racing remastered. 2K looks nice but the gameplay has zero depth. It is not satisfying to drive in the game like it is in a Mario Kart.

Drome racers was my childhood the cars was fnatastic and gameplay and physics are amazing even the enviroment is expensive i owe big part of my childhood to drome racers

Your video had an absolutely poor explanation (or lack there of) about how intricate and unique the powerup system of Lego Racers 1 was.
The White Brick would work as a a Multiplier and combined with every powerups would result in unique powerup of its own. The Multiplier had 3x cap, which means for every 4 types of powerup, you can have 12 powerups, which works very differently. And strategizing between choosing or dropping one power up for the favor of another one, or multiplying it while racing.. These are the charms that even modern kart racers dont have, let alone the old one, it's so unique.
You didn't mention that Stunt Rally had 4-player mode on one PC. I really liked that feature, played it quite a bit when I was little.
Lego Stunt Rally was awesome to make your own tracks and Lego Racers was awesome to make your own cars
Weirdly I prefer the OG lego racers over 2K. Yes 2K's building mode is amazing.... but the racing tracts and boss characters are not as nice and beautifull as in lego racers. Lego racers is one of these racing game where I sometimes drive just to look at the nice designed enviorment. Don't feel that way about 2K.... also microtransactions and battlepass... -_-
And yes, I still have the OG lego racers for pc and actually replay it from time to time.

And so here we have Jon's EVERY LEGO Racing Game Review, released for UA-cam media platform in 2023.
Now this review is not really different from his other reviews, he critiques the games from the same perspective as usual, and it feels more like a game magazine article than a video. I think his critiques are fine enough, you know, it takes a little bit of time to get used to, they can be a bit stiff, but I think they're fine enough. The voice over he has laid out for you is more than accommodating for the gameplay footage that this video has. So really it's just kind of a basic little game review - Jon has a bunch of different games to go through, and that's really about it. His critiques themselves are nothing all that special. Again, it's pretty basic - there is a small historic introduction of the game, some game mechanic overview, , which can affect his critique a little bit, but it doesn't really have a huge affect on it. The reviews are fine, I mean, I couldn't really remember any of them when the video ended, but there were none that stuck out as particularly awful. I would say they were all a bit generic and just bland. In fact, I'd say this whole video, yeah, it's a bit bland. Like it's just not too exciting or challenging to watch. Really this video's best aspect is having chapters to choose from - unlike some other reviewers, Jon actually understands that this is a tier list and he lets you customize your experience - he really lets you pick different video chapters - that's the best aspect, that you can actually choose stuff. Jon really understands the tier list vision, and this review, you know, at least it's really short. It's like 19 minutes - 19 minutes and 13 seconds, it's over before you even know it. I'll be real - you're really not missing anything.
