Serra and Canas are always my go to magic users. Canas is good and luna just makes him broken. Serra can crit anything that breathes. I also absolutely love Aureola’s animation. Like the satellite beam from Akira
It is pretty neat, though I'll admit I like Luce's animation a bit better. Shame Luce is useless and exists for like, five turns. And yeah, Canas is great too. Unfortunately he grew really badly in this run, and I had Serra anyway. Didn't need anyone other than Serra.
This video brings me joy, the first time I played FE7 I only had 6 units alive into the final map, the 3 lords, Athos, Wallace and Serra, I remember Wallace dying there and still have my original squad on a link arena team. How I got every unit killed except for a level 20 bishop Serra is beyond me.

I beat this legit before recording the video. She had less Aureola uses by the end, but she pulled it off all the same. For the video I rigged a couple crits, just for dramatic effect, but believe me, she could pull it off without shenanigans.

I just had her heal a ton. Not the fastest player, so I had plenty of opportunity. I also played through Lyn mode in this run, which helped her immensely by letting her be ready by the time the first guiding ring was available and boosting up her power a bit with the energy ring. Everything else was just luck. She grew hilariously well. Best surprise of the run by far.
