These incompetent candidates truly illustrate how democracies unravel and how people disengage from politics.
Don't worry mate. People wil just disengage from the Conservatives. Until this country reverts back to proportional voting there is no chance of fair elections being held, the Tories changed the local boundaries because it favoured their party much more than the other parties standing against them.

You know ... this country NEVER had proportional representation and elections use the Additional Member System, which is a hybrid of single member plurality and proportional representation. You see London has ALWAYS been the most important place in the small United Kingdom, Westminster itself, is a city within a city and even more elitist. The Tories did change some stuff but it was NEVER proportional and the Home Counties had priority, maybe still do.

It has always been FPTP for General elections. We need MMP. The only country to move from FPTP to MMP in recent years, has been New Zealand. I will not vote for any of the major parties until we have adopted MMP. None of them deserve their seats upon such a perverse system and none of them will change it unless we redirect our votes elsewhere.

Unfortunately this results in poor credit history and when remortgaging you get a bad rate. I'd love to bring down Shell and BP's profits, but mass non payment won't do this

Apart from my mortgage, (which only has a fees years left) I've lived by .if I can't afford to save and pay , I can't afford to have it.. That's kept me debt free all my life.. never had a credit card or store card. I teach my kids this too and they're managing life just fine.. GREED is the problem ..Not just company greed but human greed too..

Rishi is a highly intelligent, hard working man who studied at Oxford and Stanford, two top universities in the world.
He was born in Southampton, and
he has two years of financial experience at top Government level.
He saved thousands of small companies with his furlough scheme during lockdown.
He has sensible plans to help with reducing the national debt and targeting aid to those who really need it. He has proposed new laws to control illegal immigration.
The media is victimising him for the clothes and shoes he wears, and claiming that he is too rich to be PM ! It is not his fault that his wife is wealthy. Is she not entitled to buy him expensive presents for his Birthday?

If Lizz Truss becomes the next PM, I am sorry but I (and millions of Indian Conservatives) will NOT be voting Conservative at the next election. This would be a disaster for the Tory party, especially in marginal seats.

If I was a Tory, I'd just not vote and wait until either the general or the next leadership election. MPs shouldn't pick the top two. Everyone should run and face a ranked choice vote by Tory voters. Whoever wins becomes party leader. Same for Labour and so on. It eliminates this elitism that gives us such bad candidates.

Hong Kong students are holding PSW visa but UK government still requesting sponsorship to allow them get job offer in UK even though they studied many years in UK and graduated in UK University. This is really very difficult for a new graduate student who wants to start their career in UK. This is not even the same offer for BNO holder and this is real unfair to all these HK students who studied in UK many years. This is really upset for HK students in UK…
