My all-time favorite truck, the 58 Chevy,I had one in the mid 80s with 348 v8, boy. Was it fun to drive. Thanks for another awesome fun video. You and Esther are the best.
A good tip for bead leaks is the soft tire chalk or crayons and rub it around the wheel rim bead if it's a bit pitted it will help fill the pits and seal the white ones seam to work the best . I would put the wheel on the changer and spin the rim and rub the crayon into the bead until it builds up works good for wheels that won't seal up
@@crbrepairmotorcycles6608I fitted tires for over 10 years between New Zealand and Australia in heavy industrial and Earthmover gear and mines also helped with car's and 4WDs as well it works
@@Ngarepairercar1990don't knock until you try not something I did very often but if a wheel rim wouldn't seal it works . Even bead sealer sometimes wouldnt work on old crap so did that to fill the pitting . As long as it the wheel wasn't to far rusted out
the stuff your looking for is bead sealer it is basically a black colored rubber cement usually comes in a red and black can here (Xtra Seal) love the old apache!
Great to see you teaching the young ones to be able to use the tools in the rite way. Not just sit there on the phone or play station. So are they your boys or are you just that generous with your time and knowledge that your passing on.
@@davegallucci9327 if you get a pitted wheel that won't seal get some tire crayon white ones and rub it into the wheel bead it fills the pitting and should seal if you get stuck
The Apache is looking good , the rear tire was a touch on the sticky side but some rubber cement and a little perseverance and all is well Stuart in Ontario ..
Ester backs that green Hot Rod out like she really knows how to drive a truck. Fun to see her blond head Looking back over her shoulder and driving backwards. Reminded me of my Mom driving Dads pickup truck back on the farm in the 50s. Great fix. Thanks Guys. D
Thanks for showing the update on a very nice truck. To be honest about it, for as many nice vehicles as you have and have put time and money into, I'm surprised that they just sit outside, through the terrible northern winters, out in the elements.
Excellent video Brent :) , Ester :) , Pablo The Supervisor Dog 🐕 , yes fix tire that leaks on beads Brent use 400 soft grip sand then clean up with cloth on both sides and put gasket mender 2 times on both ribs sides let sit 2 minutes then blow up tire to 35 psi let sit before installing! Then set PSI pressure you want after installation on vechile if no leaks and should be go!
Brent that’s what you use after you buff the area and I use three inch roloc disc to buff the surface so it’s scuffed and then you use that buffer pre-clean product and it does smell like thinner. What it does it creates a nice clean smooth surface that the tire glue will stick and then you put your patch. You need grind it clean then put that black rubber tire goop on the rim and then you put the tire on while it’s still wet and then it will seal it’s called tire bead sealer
i wish i had the tire machine my kids 05 neon has the same issue chrome rim bit of rust under that an it leaks down over several days thank ya esther for the video
Nice one just seen on another vid some one useing a lazer like yours to keep the dust out of the lens they used an air blower next to it to push the particals away works good see you soon
Just got back from WPG on Sunday. Took my wife to see her 99 year old mother. Going back on Oct 21 - 23 to see her again. She is in Bethania Nursing home by Concordia Hospital.
i was told by a man that used to work for a tire mfg. that the government made the tire people make tires where they went bad quicker because they were lasting to long in the land fields thus had to start dating the tires
Brent; Ther is an old saying. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. Lets just hope your GMC doesn't stay in Vegas because some guy steals it. Be safe you two. God bjess!!
It's just a dawg gone shame you lost so much to that horrible fire. That pipe bender/expander was such a nice tool. You keep moving ahead, that's the main thing.

Cooper Nickel brake line easy to work with as far as forming new lines and rust resistant it's the bomb.
I have had pitted wheels and used windshield urethane, worked every time.
Try my tip it works good tire crayon around the wheel bead works to
I use rubberized undercoating in a spray can. Spray it on and clean up with thinner. Works easy and good.
I have even had success using peanut butter in a pinch lol!
I've spread a thick layer of wheel grease in a pinch.....pitted tractor wheels, etc. It works very well
Easy tasks for an idle day. (if you ever had an idle day!). Good to hear Esther again.
I just did the tire thing on my buick. I bought thr black rim sealer. Working so far! Fingers crossed. Glad Ester is helping!😊

Thanks for sharing Brent and Ester. Take care.
Great video! Thanks Esther!
love your videos...I believe 58 front fender script is aft near the door, while 59 script it forward near the headlights...still a cool pickup...)
Brent add back the GMC on the front there. It will add to the awesomeness.
Fix this and fix that and all is well in the world. Be safe and stay well.

Hi Brent, Used washing machine water pumps for ponds, convert them over with A foam filter on, so the little fish don't get suck in??
Same here. Ford. But I miss my '62 Chevy/292/6cyl. Grease worked on those rims for me for years. Glue makes a PITA mess to get off the tire.
Very enjoyable hearing the banter between the two of you. Agree, don't think Ester wants to be behind the squirty things. I wouldn't either.
Carona and I always to stop by. Pablo is looking good

Another one in the stable. 👍😎
Sturgeon Tire uses like a tar rubber stuff that they just paint on the rim which works great

Trans leak, drive shaft yoke? Blob of silicone and a ball of Saran wrap ( in the end of the yoke)

Hi My Dear Friend Very Very Great Job Sir ❤❤❤❤❤

How are the attempts at the HAK emblem coming for the rag green pick me up truck?
Haven’t tried it yet haha
Teamwork
Drop her off in Cleveland State on the way to Vegas,🎉🎉😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
How long is it since you did a fleet tour?
Like the mad that that’s what I was born that day 58🎉🎉😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
might not be the tires, did you balance the drive shaft?
Yes that was cool Peace out
Use gas on a rag and wipe down the bead on the tire and wheel. the gas will soften the rubber and help it seal!

It's still an awesome truck do a little details to it it is an awesome truck and your wife looks good in your other truck that convertible fits her
It called bead sealer I think just a suggestion
You have to get some bead sealer
I live in New York it's a norm. Replace brake lines every so often
Just another day at the "office" for you and the bride
👍🏻🍻
Check your title that's a 59 front ferder designation the 58 is smaller back further and says Apache the 59 says Chevrolet Apache.
Put Sawdust on the oil that lies on the floor
Do like you're fellow UA-camr Mortskie and put a tube in that tire.😊
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
😎👍
Trans fluid will soften the rubber on the bead and it will seal playing this game 50 yrs further information just a small amount
like 21 !
Wassup
Tire patching blue will not work
