Anyone who watched the Deen Anime and didn't read the novels [Red]Missed out on the entire premise behind Umineko in the first place[/red] I'm not sure if Funimation or Viz are necessarily anime studios, but it would be great if they got the rights. The people in those companies are staunchly pro-anime and do anime a great deal of justice.
Superhero18 Funimation don't make anime. They just localize and dub it. Viz localize and translate manga. They wouldn't really be interested in getting the Umineko VN, because they would not turn it into anime. It's unlikely the Umineko VN will ever get an official release, which in my opinion would deal it the most justice. So yeah, if Umineko ever gets another anime adaptation it would need to be by an actual anime studio, like for example: Ufotable, Gonzo, MadHouse, Gainax, Shaft etc. X3

The only character who fits this description is Ushiromiya Natsuhi. Its stated in EP5-EP7 that Kinzo gave Natsuhi his illegitimate child to raise, but her pride wouldn't let her. Her rejection of the child that should have become Ushiromiya Lion, gave birth to the Endless Witch, Beatrice.

Even though Eva acts like a b***h towards Shannon, I believe that she has never been told she's been hated by George. George only stated that he wanted to break free from his mother's influence and live the way he wanted.
It could refer to both, really. And I think that's why Yasu and Maria bonded so much, they both resented their mother/motherly figure and were somewhat outcasts. Mother issues seem to be a common theme in Umineko.

I enjoyed Higurashi and Umineko equally. Both are beautifully made, even though Higurashi's anime is better than Umineko. All in all, I loved Both!!!! This song is awesome!!!!! I recognised the tune that appears throughout the song because it's a BGM in the visual novels.
While the visual novels were better than the anime, the Umineko anime was good in the way that you can actually SEE the scene of murder. In the visual novel it was only descrinbed, and some people are visual learners, meaning they learn things better by seeing it than through text.

Umineko no Naku Koro ni/Chiru is more than just an anime, this is a tale of fate that was introduce to me and change my reasoning of life completely. I can now proclaim that a miracle has happened upon myself by just understanding in depth the meaning of such beautiful novel and their stories that are left as forgeries between that tragic yet love fate that had been cast upon those two until the end of their world. 愛なしには見ることができません。。。

Higurashi was made earlier, but you don't have to watch Higurashi in order to watch Umineko. (Yeah, they give lots of Higurashi referances, but you'll be fine.) I personally like Higurashi better, but Umineko was equally awesome. Higurashi is more of a horror and psychology novel, while Umineko is more of a murder mystery and fantasy one. Both has two seasons and you need to read the second seasons to understand them completely, so don't give up! ^^
Things aren't always what they seems, Sayo may have become "Beatrice", but she will never truly be who she's imitating. There's 3 Beatrice counting Sayo. Imagination and tricks are her only "powers".
If you think it in the Magic way, It was Lambdadelta who help her. If you think it in the logic way, It's just that Sayo is very intelligent and a good actress.
The gold that she acquired from Kinzo and the bomb set to *certainly* explode in midnight that shuts the catbox tight. Also she's really good at playing her roles so there's that.

I enjoyed Higurashi and Umineko equally. Both are beautifully made, even though Higurashi's anime is better than Umineko. All in all, I loved Both!!!! This song is awesome!!!!! I recognised the tune that appears throughout the song because it's a BGM in the visual novels.
Even though the anime's better I say Umineko is a better VN/SN than Higu.
While the visual novels were better than the anime, the Umineko anime was good in the way that you can actually SEE the scene of murder. In the visual novel it was only descrinbed, and some people are visual learners, meaning they learn things better by seeing it than through text.

Higurashi was made earlier, but you don't have to watch Higurashi in order to watch Umineko. (Yeah, they give lots of Higurashi referances, but you'll be fine.) I personally like Higurashi better, but Umineko was equally awesome. Higurashi is more of a horror and psychology novel, while Umineko is more of a murder mystery and fantasy one. Both has two seasons and you need to read the second seasons to understand them completely, so don't give up! ^^

Things aren't always what they seems, Sayo may have become "Beatrice", but she will never truly be who she's imitating. There's 3 Beatrice counting Sayo. Imagination and tricks are her only "powers".
If you think it in the Magic way, It was Lambdadelta who help her.
If you think it in the logic way, It's just that Sayo is very intelligent and a good actress.

The way I understand it is that the events of Higurashi are controlled as part of a game in Umineko. Or so my friend keeps saying. They linked me to this to try and get me to read the Uminigger VN but meh, I'm lazy. Good vid though.
