Polo sports is also very common among the Northern Nigeria elite especially the retired army generals.

❤Wow! We don't know enough about Nigeria. Nor other African countries ...it's awesome, we need this in the movies and other cultures displayed. ❤

I was at the Durbar in Katsina State. It was simply breathtaking. The video does no justice to the colours I saw.

Northern Nigeria is just as the same as north Africa.......why the southern nigeria is a whole different vibe culture which you have seen from the calabar carnival

Be spreading misinformation with such confidence. Even Southern Kaduna doesn’t have the same culture as Kaduna North

I witnessed one when I went for my youth service in Jigawa State. It was beautiful, I had no idea such event took place. I even got to climb one of the horses.
    Absolutely beautiful

Durbar festival is synonymous with Emirates like Bauchi, Kano, and Sokoto. Others include Bida, Yola, and the camel 🐫 raiders in Maiduguri etc.

Nigeria 🇳🇬 is the most diverse country in Africa, a lot of people DO NOT know what Nigeria ( culture, customs, food, tradition etc ) really is. They only know a bit from the West and Eastern part of the country, due to Christianity and social media.

They also used the horses for slave raids. So unfortunate

The Ojúde Ọba in Ìjẹ̀bú Òde always has the Warrior Clans and the Horseriding Families, come pay homage to the king.
If I find the video on only that part of festival I will send it to you.
