- Aerial footage of the historic Baima House (Pacific Coast Company House No. 75), located in Newcastle, Washington.
The Baima House is one of the oldest homes in King County, having been built sometime before 1880. It is the only surviving structure from the town of Old Newcastle and a relic of the days when Cougar Mountain was known primarily for its coal.
On November 1, 2024, just 10 days after this footage was recorded, the Baima House was moved to its present location at the Heritage Park. Here, under the responsible stewardship of the City of Newcastle, it will finally be made accessible to the public.
