  • Each year thousands of people apply for a job to work on Australian scientific bases in Antarctica. It’s not just scientists who are needed for the 12-14-month stint on the most isolated continent on Earth. Tradies, doctors, chefs and ice core drillers are all needed to make sure life and research continues - and for the last six months, two people have documented their experience.
