Was there a reason why you didn't apply or stable a mesh wire first to the plywood flooring than screw the cement board on top? Asking for a friend lol .. great work.
I have Chicago brick floors that were previously sealed. They are almost the same color as my kitchen cabinets as is. I want to lighten the brick floors and thought that white washing be a good idea; however was told that because the bricks were sealed, I could not do a traditional white wash. Any ideas of how I could get a white wash look on a sealed brick floor and it be durable?

Our installer just put the cement over the sub flooring turned out beautiful.

Other similar thin brick manufacturers say that installing these on cement is okay to do as long as you prep the cement prior to install.
Yes, you can. I saw another tutorial of a porch done in herringbone on the manufacturers website.

I’d search that on UA-cam.
You may have to sand the original top coat first.
