What does the test show?
The more weights you manage to put on the machine until it stops, the stronger the oil film tested will be. The test examines the oil film's resistance to tearing.
The sample is measured with a micrometer - the lower the result with a given load (the gouge in the sample is smaller), the oil will give better protection to the engine.
The table will give the result of the gouge in the sample, the number of weights put on the machine, the temperature when the machine is stopped.

Witam, jaki olej wybrać do 2.0 BlueHDi 150KM lub 180KM? Zalecany jest 0W30 Total, ale w testach to średnio wychodzi. Jaki też dodatek do oleju zastosować, może Motor-Life?

Witam widzę że przetestowałeś już multum olei a szukam często na forach odpowiedniego wyboru i nie mogę znaleźć a szukam najlepszego możliwego oleju 5w40 do 1.8t i nawet zastanawiałem się nad penrite ravenol millers itd itp ale czytając dalej nie jestem w stanie dokonać wyboru godnego oleju. Może byłbyś w stanie coś doradzić ?

Słowo "najlepszy" jest tu kluczowe, a w parze z tym idzie niestety cena. Proszę spojrzeć na: Royal Purple 5W40 (obojętnie czy HPS czy XPR) lub Xado AMC Black LX 5W40 (czarna puszka, nie szara).
