Acrylic April Painting Challenge begins April 1st 2020- no joke
30 Days, 30 Powerful Little Paintings
We hope that Every April, artists from all over the world take on the Acrylic all April painting challenge by doing one small acrylic painting every day for the entire month.
I am creating the #AcrylicApril challenge as a way to introduce painters to the gifts of daily painting with Acrylic.This monthly challenge will help every acrylic artist unlock the true potential of the acrylic medium and their art own voice.
Anyone can do Acrylic April,
Just grab your paint, your brush and hit the studio( even if it’s your kitchen Table).
#AcrylicApril rules:
1) Make a painting on a surface 12x12 or smaller. ( sorry for the confusion)
2) Share it online
3) Hashtag it with #AcrylicApril and #AcrylicApril2020 #ItsNoJokeAcrylicApril and be sure to add the day of the challenge, or word prompt, etc
4) Repeat Daily from April 1 ( no fooling) to April 30th
How to do the Challenge
Do your best to paint daily. Some Days may be artwork you are excited about some days you may scribble out an abstract but under no circumstances should your be hard on yourself. If you make 30 little paintings you are a winner. If you make less than 30 you are a winner. Do your best

11 4oz tubes of Abstract Acrylic Paint- Acrylic April colors hand picked by me for this line.
50 sheets of FABRIANO 140 pound cold pressed watercolor paper- Can be thirsty but is robust enough for acrylic. You may need to use 3 coats of a background color to seal
3 AMAZING brushes (substitutions may occur) Round, Flat and Filbert. These are Different brushes but I have tested them all and they will work. They are amazing brushes. We are working with the Stock there is.

Hey Cinnamon. 1st...great Acrylic April...I've been enjoying every lesson...altho have not kept up...2nd?...I was walking my adorable little yorkie, Chewey, last nite after your moms QQ QUEST video & his long lashline got tripped up in wheels of my walker causing it & me to stumble & fall.Needless to say I fractured my wrist when breaking fall as well as bruised rib cage...I can hardly breathe w/o pain. The black n blue Mark's are bigger now than they were 5 hrs ago...anyways...I will not be able to paint til wrist heals...just twisting a paint cap off is excruciating. HOWEVER...I will continue to watch,love & learn...for the duration...3rd!!! I just purchased your Acrylic April Set...I just tried those paints & love them so am quite thrilled about it. I also heard from your mom that Jerry's in Houston called her to let her know that once society reopens & things start getting back to a possible normal...THAT PAINTS WILL BE IN SHORT SUPPLY FOR POSSIBLY 3 MONTHS...due to manufacturers having to reopen their plants & get to making them again...so I figured I may as well purchase this very nicely chosen list of supplies in 1 kit.Thanks for all...see you in a few!✌out

Can you please do more free draw (showing us how) with the painting tutorials, instead of the traceables and grids?
I am so sorry that time doesn't allow that more often. We will try and see what we can do but drawing out the images on camera increases the length of the video by a lot. 💕

I'd love it if you'd could but time stamps of the different steps or could you please tell me what colors I need to use to paint a red fox? I'm painting a piece with a red fox sitting in front of a clock face; And if i should paint the it d starting with the darker colors to lighter colors or what.
We have incorporated time stamps in our new videos. Too late for the older ones, but we are doing this now. And in acrlic paint you paint back to front mostly and dark to light 💕
