      I’m all set with your awesome online classes . On the intro to your video, it says all 30 classes are on Amazon Prime Video. That’s what I was inquiring about. Are you planning to add to the one that’s already on there? Thank you.😊

    Getting ready to start this. I already know that the brush strokes will be my challenge. I love that these are segmented by steps so that I can get a sense of completing a step, breath and mentally prepare for the next step. Well I'm going to paint this now and even though I have done calligraphy years ago I'm hoping it kicks in.

    I thought, "I'm just doing a quick background. I'll put Cinnamon on and watch her while I do it." Next thing I know, my paints are dried on my pallet and I have a cup of coffee and my daughter watching over my shoulder. :)

    Thankyou! I enjoy your videos and teachings! I am finding these for the 30day challenge are very quick, your camera guy doesn’t spend a lot of time on the painting, but flips a lot between the palette, you and the painting. It would be great to have a separate cam square off the side for the palette and you! Just an idea! I spend more time stopping and rewinding the video and it’s more frustrating! Just a thought!

      We have beginners that need and want to see the color mixes. So that is why we do that. I am sorry it makes it harder for some. 💚

    • @Isakhmet
      @Isakhmet 4 роки тому +2

      Agreed, a little square in the corner with the palette would be great (like educational videos where the talking head is in the corner, but the palette instead)

    I had fun painting this, learning a few new things, it turned out rough, but I had fun none the less. I have a request for the future when or if you get around to it, I think it'd be cool for you to make a very complicated, intricate, painting of your choice that is perhaps a 3 or 4 part painting and be a 3+ hoot lol It would be something that would be way beyond my skills at this time as I really only can handle 1 hoots right now and 2's can be a bit of a challenge, but I would love to see a major challenge just as a special thing you do one day for a really challenging bit of fun.

    Really love the painting and the video. You paint in so many different styles. Unfortunately I felt a little carsick from the video cutting from painting to palette to painting very fast. I wouldn’t mind if things were slower.

      Thank you for the feedback next Acrylic April we will try to improve camera pacing a bit !! Hope other then that its going well

    • @Naomid0408
      @Naomid0408 4 роки тому

      I also had a lot of difficulty following because of the camera angles, being too far away, the process moving WAY too fast, none of the brush strokes seemed to be explained in detail... I found myself having to pause and rewind ad nauseum and I got very frustrated and stressed trying to follow. My painting looks a bit more like hot garbage rather than a hot Phoenix, sadly... I’m wondering if brush strokes are explained in more detail in a different video and maybe I just missed them? These free painting guides are very much appreciated and generous, but I just can’t follow this one well.

      Never a fail, because you learn something from each painting. And you always can have a redo. Perhaps practice just the strokes of the painting separately then try again. 💛💛💛

      What may be actually impacting you is the coverage of your paint. If your paint does not have rich opaque color you may need to underpaint objects white or use multiple coats

    Would it be possible to make a subreddit or something for Acrylic April as well? I don't allow Facebook in our family but I really want somewhere to chat with other people and discuss their works. Twitter seems kind of brief for the discussions I had in mind.

    why paint over the chalk on the background part of the phoenix? i've seen you use a bit of water on other videos.

    • @TheArtSherpa
      @TheArtSherpa  3 роки тому

      if the chalk in an area where I am painting i can just paint over it without it harming the painting, if it is in an area where I don't need to paint I will remove it. Hope that helps. 💝
