Here’s a tip for anyone who has to get out of the house for a while, and are dealing with an icy driveway, walkway, etc. If you put an old tattered pair of socks over your shoes, you won’t have to worry about falling and injuring yourself. I hope everyone has a wonderful day today 🌟

Very painful, but it can all be solved by sprinkling normal table salt onto the ice on the ground, or spraying ethylene glycol (de-icer) if on planes or vehicles.
I know, all elderly should have ice proof walkers with grips so they don’t slip And shoes with grips too My grandma fell while walking on her driveway after it had completely iced over a years back
I live in Canada. During winter, if I have the option between walking on a road, sidewalk or a paved alley that is iced, i'll walk into the unshoveled snow right next to it lol
This moment when you see someone wearing heels on the ice and don’t feel sorry at all when they fall. I mean, common, who wears such a skirt and heels when you have that kind of weather.

I'm from Russia, Vladivostok. This winter we had two freezing rains. We got to work like that. But then half of the city was without electricity and heating. And a lot of trees broke under the weight of ice
If I saw someone digging their car out with a spoon you best believe I’m getting my shovel and helping, I don’t care if i’m late for work, I’ll tell them my car got stuck
Have a bucket of sand, sidewalk salt, or kitty litter with you in your trunk at all times during the winter You never when you’ll need it Also a window scraper brush thing and a good shovel And a good pair of gloves, hat, and boots
@ML SZ as an Australian I really felt for Texas during this. Ive never seen snow or ice and know I would surely die during a storm like this. Actually Australia would just call in sick to work and have a BBQ, we would make it work.
Back in the early and mid-90's before they would close schools, we had to walk blocks in ice. It was a nightmare. Walking in the middle of the street because there weren't any cars out back when we used to get blizzards.
Ice cleats that pull or strap onto your street shoes have been around for over a hundred years. Get some, people! You'll never have to worry about falling again.
@ML SZ how did you tell they were wrong? I went for an x-ray and then the lady pushed my knee inwards with her left arm and pulled on my foot outwards. And vice versa. And I felt no pain. But they told me I need to get an MRI and that I need surgery....so idk
Had a few chuckles, couldn't help it. Loved the cat on the ice. The clip the real danger of snow not cleared off the roof of vehicles. In PA you can get a fine for not clearing off roof of vehicle.
Feeling blessed that I live in Florida. I will never know the struggle. And ladies, ice and heels is a HUGE...DON’T DO IT. Don’t even think about doing it.
1:50 Poor dude just trying to make it home from a honest day of workin’
Omg! Laughed so hard every time I watched it! So funny to see him calmly fail and slide into his front yard! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Probably hungry too😂😂😂
This one really cracked me up...😂

In the first one I love how the dog just scooted by her and ran into the house while she struggled to stand up. 😆
I know right- lol lolol
I was done ok lol...he or she was like well, I don't know about you but I'm goin inside😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Watching people on ice is the scariest and most hilarious thing to watch.
I agree but subconsciously disagree when it happens to us in real life.
Although it is funny when it happens to animals.
Right. Like nails on a chalkboard but funny. On ice, you accelerate from 0 to light speed in a fraction of a second so the hit is always...bad
For real! I'm just glad I know how to walk on ice, but all it takes is one time. Had it bad where we are zero injuries.
Yeah but Chaplin did it first😂🤣😂
Very painful, but it can all be solved by sprinkling normal table salt onto the ice on the ground, or spraying ethylene glycol (de-icer) if on planes or vehicles.
Now that's something you won't hear everyday, "I slid down the Great Wall." lol
That poor soul trying to crawl. I salute your determination. You earned a hot bowl of soup and warm slippers for life.
The woman with the cell phone kills me...how about putting phone away and walking on the grass???
Riiiiiight like wtf???
People are so dumb
I feel bad when the older people fall or slide and the ones whose cars slide.

The dude digging out with a spoon must have been brutal, he didn't have gloves on.
3:16 lol
At that point, just use your hands like a shovel and kick the snow down

There's more traction action on snow than on ice. Sprinkling salt pellets on icy surface may work.

The guy digging out his car with a spoon probably had told his boss he'd be in as soon as he got his car dug out. 😆
After a couple of bad falls on ice, it terrifies me to walk on it.
Socks? Use crampons. They're like the metal spikes on the bottom of soccer cleats but they are removable
I just fell today, think I twisted my knee
That CAT!!! He was having a Blast on that ice!!
Others on frozen path: tries to walk and fell several times
Me: slide down like a slide 🤣
I be skating on ice lol
Here in the philippines, we wished to have a snow a lot but i change my mind after watching this.. cold water with ice is already enough..🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That big rig sliding is the most scariest.

Hmm idk 😶 *I* have been that dumb w/o trying to fake it

rule #1 don't walk on ice or snow for that matter with your hands in your pockets
Right, if you go out without gloves it's too easy to keep warming your hands in your pockets, then you fall.
I am so happy i grew up with this each year bc its like seeing the new world for these people
Never thought about the Great Wall :D That was a good one :D
Everyone: Why do magnets repel each other?

I can remember those times when parked cars were snowed in, and I didn't know under which snow drift mine was.
So hilarious that’s why I don’t try to maneuver in the ice. 😂
