Hey guys😊 It’s so hard for me to shop antique malls etc. I love rummage sales, garage sales and thrift stores. It’s all about the hunt for hidden gems at low low prices lol. Some of those prices were crazy! I think you paid a fair price for the items you purchased. “On to the next!”
Same here. We'd definitely rather be digging at a yard sale... only a couple more months until yard sale season is upon us again. :)

I enjoy looking even when I do not buy, so interesting. After nearly 50 years of collecting here in the US, I have never heard of a tantalus and have never seen one. Owned a picture frame shop for 20 years. People trashed these old frames (I saved them), or sometimes wanted the flat glass cut. Some people do not mind changing the history of the piece. We own a brass cash register. It is a great bar piece. Thanks from a faithful fan in Roanoke VA.

Always wanted a big beautiful vanity but I can't see without my glasses so would still need a small mirror on the vanity. I LOVE the ones with the long mirrors

I gotten my reverse painted bubble glass frame of a church from the antique store for $52.75, but I seen one at an antique store a different one so different people selling they wanted over a hundred dollars for theirs and has been sitting in their store for a couple of years or more .
Antique stores are soooo expensive!! Even the bargain prices!! Wow!! Nice frames though. Glad you managed to lower the prices at least to a little less than full value!! Good job!

It's just ma generic UV (ultra violet) flashlight. We bought ours on Ebay for about $1, shipped from China.
The prices are so high in these antique malls. I don’t even understand how they stay in business. The items must sit there for years. Great job on the negotiating. If you don’t ask you don’t know. You guys rock!

These dealers in this antique mall have drank too much of the Antiques Roadshow Kool-Aid! Nice museum. You guys missed the Turner flamingo print with the mirrored frame at 20:00. Those bring between hundreds $$ to over $1,000 here in the US. There was another Turner above that one too. MCM to the moon!

Yes sir! GoPro Hero 4 Silver on my chest, and Gopro Hero 3 on the dashcam. Use 128Gb micro SD cards, because they'll record at full 1080p for 8 hours straight, so no screwing with memory cards. Only have to worry about swapping batteries about once an hour or so.

Just think about how much more product that antique mall would sell if their prices weren't so heavily inflated! They'd actually be making alot more money, instead of running a museum of items people can't afford!
I realize they have overhead costs, etc. but if they're not moving product, they won't stay in business long!

This has been my favorite visit yet! I loved your antique mall! Mine is 20 minutes away, in an old train depot. Takes me about 3 hours to stroll through and look at everything...it's not heated or cooled, so we roast in the Valley summers, and freeze in the Valley winters!---My wedding service was International Deep Silver (has an extra piece embedded in the resting surface of the spoon and fork) and my pattern was very much like the one you looked at, but it was lost when my storage unit was broken in to shortly after I moved back to California...

Whenever I go to local antique shops I always get deals. Everyone knows my mom and dad. " Are you shirley and Oscar's son?" Oh then you take it for.. and it's always fair. Some remember me as the tag along because I always went with them to sales, shops and auctions.

That is the problem with antique malls, the price are CRAZY high. It's like they are fishing for idiots. Sorry to use such harsh language but it's almost like what they are doing....

Very overpriced so no fun at all trying to find a reasonable priced item. Not for me.
@@lara_berg I am from Missouri and we are about 65 miles south of STL and many of the vendors at our large malls are all from the city. These people typically love to price their items very high. I call these places museums that the unknowing and rich people support. Not me!
