Another ride along with the Barons. You drive safely Rob, remember you have all of us in the truck with you! Would you pass me a Rockstar, please. Do you have some room in the truck for a few things if I decide to purchase something? Thanks guys. Laughs and smiles are always great medicine.
I love the doilies! I have a large collection of them myself. I also have a nice collection of table cloths from the 40's-50's era. I even have dresser scarves. I used those a lot when I was a teenager. I love linens! That was a great sale!
"Minus Holy crap!" Love it 🤣😂🤣 Rob where's your touk? You would be much warmer. 🙃🤣 Awesome finds, my first uranium glass purchase (thank's to the Barons for getting me hooked lol) was that set you just got! Stay warm and thanks for another great video. Karen I love the rhinestone set, it takes your breath away beautiful!
Yeah for church rummage sales. I've only been to one (February) so far this year, and I cannot wait for more! Garage sales are starting up now so let the fun begin. It looks so cold up there! Brrrrr. Congrats on the Birks.
Thanks so much Danelle!! Hope you're keeping warm!! Yes it's still sub-zero temps here, but actually warmer than normal, so we're hoping for an early spring! =)
Great haul you two!!! Because I live near Detroit/Windsor every once in a blue moon I find some Birks jewelry and can usually pick it up for around scrap prices or slightly higher, and almost 90% of it sells right back to Canada, especially the pins and brooches. I wish I knew you liked those candle clips for the Christmas trees, I'd have sent you the bunch that I just tossed in the recycle bins. Try to stay warm. Cheers!!!
Hahaha no worries about the candle clips! =) Funny about the Birks though! =D Yes lots of collectors here in Canada for that Birks jewelry and not surprised it doesn't sell as well in the USA because it;s just not as well known there. =)
' Turn all your pockets inside out' Hilarious! Everybody is so nice and polite to each other! The snow on the trees looked beautiful. .......send some here.......its as hot as hades! 😂😂
Hi Kids, don't know what I'm so excited about, don't get to bring anything home, but I'm sure excited for you!!! Just everything was awesome, & I mean everything!! My blood pressure must be sky high at this point!! Soooo fun! If you're gonna steal, go to a bank, not a church!!! Thanks for soooo much fun, your fan, Carol
Great video i only came across your channel a few days ago and i love what you guys are sharing ... Can't wait for new videos but in the mean time i will binge watch your older ones... Thanks for sharing xx
Love the little gowns , they are so precious. I can't wait for my granddaughter to wear hers .Thanks again for sharing And I was thinking as you two were walking out, that it was like Fort Knox's in there. 🤗💖
I was so excited to see your video! Hope you are feeling better and thank you for posting! Glad you got the uranium glass salt and pepper. I have a set myself!
Those candle holders for Christmas tree we had them when I was a child. I might even still have a few of them. In a few months time my ched needs clearing out and there are about 6 or 7 banana boxes with Christmas decoration. If I find it and other old things I will contact you. It is probably hard to find christening gowns because they go from generation to generation. 😊
Love your finds. I am a sucker for dollies , I probably has over a 100. I do use them as I love mid-century decor. I also have my Christening gown set. Don't even want to say how old! My favorite color is also green and the outfit has pale green ribbons. I have plans for a gallery wall display on the stairs wall. I plan to display it along with other family momentums.I look forward to your videos as I get to vicariously get to come along on your ventures!! 💲 💖 ✊
That church sale was awesome. You scored on that Sterling Birks ring box. Minus holy crap... I'm going to use that. We are heading into spring already, it's been 60°f for two weeks. We only had snow in December and a bit three weeks ago.
LOL We've actually had a mild winter comparatively speaking.... We're about 20-30 degrees warmer than usual for this time of year which is *AWESOME!* a nice break from the norm...
Hi kids, nice sale.I wish I could have been there.I live in upstate N.Y. and they never have items like that here. I really enjoy watching all of your videos, they make my day.👍👍❤❤
Brrr! its so cold where y'all live! I could not handle that. I wore shorts and tshirt a couple of days ago, but this morning its 29 degrees, high getting into 60s. Stay warm! Good luck today guys!
☮🐿🐇 I have the christening gown my Grandma wore, then my Dad, my Aunt, myself then my daughter. My Great Grandmother brought it from England when they moved to the US. My Grandma was 9. My Father was born in 1941.
My Hubby and I went to a church sale - he put down an Item he bought (it was in a bag) to pick something else up to view and a lady picked it up and took it out to her car and came back in to shop like nothing happened. There is always that one person that will steal regardless of time and place sadly. Great finds again :)
Yes here too - a very mild wointer for us this year compared to normal - and not as much snow as normal either - which for us is a welcome break - although the farmers are not going to like the reduced moisture come spring. =/
the a inside the h mark on the s & p shakers is Hazel Atlas glass co dates back to the 1930s they have an interesting history if you want to look them up

The doilies are my favorite. I have a few from my grandma (RIP Grandma ) she would be 107 if she was alive. Some nut has a set of uranium desert glasses and a few other pieces for 30.00 on Facebook Marketplace. They are listed as green depression glass. I know they'll be gone when I get paid. Oh well lol.
Hope you get a chance to look at the uranium glass before it;s all gone! =) technically, a lot of uranium glass is depression glass, but obviously not all depression glass is uranium glass. =D
We are just used to it here - it;'s a way of life. We have snow on the ground here usually 6 months out of the year. Yes karen drives in the snow too, =)
I can't believe you even hesitated to spend $8.00 on those S&P shakers. For me, they were the most appropriate find of the day for you. Often when they get that old, their lids begin to get banged up and dented. Didn't see it on that pair. Brrr... I'm surprised that Karen wasn't wearing one of her elegant furs for this one. Hopefully you are running out of time to put them to use this year.
I LOVED "MINUS HOLY CRAP"! That should be a classic, along with OH DARK THIRTY! (I can definitely remember scraping windows, still do it here once in a rare while! But, we've got Santa Ana's right now, into low 80's today/tomorrow, then another shift into the 50's this weekend...still hoping for rain, so we don't have another bad fire year...).
