How To Navigate The Controls On Your Marshall Major V Headphones

Hey, i got theese headphones and when i push the knob to play it doesnt play a sound indicating starting the song, is this a choice made by marshall? or a broken product. Thanks

I belive, it is a choise made by Marshall. Mine do make a sound when turning on, connecting and turning off, but not when I start and stop music.
