3:28 THIS! This is exactly what I need the most, don’t even care if the sound quality is terrible, as long as it doesn’t press my glass frame I’m so in. No one ever talks about this, thank you so much. Is it overall comfortable enough to wear for a long period of time? Same comfortability as the Major 4?
Aaron, I know it's probably a bit unfair to compare overhead headphones and full size headphones, but could you share your experience and your opinion on which is better to take if noise cancellation is not a priority, which sounds better marshals or Sony xm4. And what about comfort? Perhaps you can recommend something in the price range up to 250 dollars at the moment. With good sound quality for rock/pop and preferably such, which in six months will not start to crack/break etc
Marshall headphones are definitely unique in style. I recently bought Major IV and fell in love with the brand. Bass is good, thumping is gentle and one can appreciate music as a whole not only certain sounds. This model seems like a slight improvement from the IV and worth buying. Thank you for the review, always simple and to the point 🌝
Aaron, I first became aware of Loud and Wirelessness because of your great in depth reports on how to distinguish real from fake Marshalls. I love Marshalls but in the past you could only reliably purchase them from Marshall (or Amazon direct) because half other vendor's offerings were fake. I guess in some ways you owe your UA-cam start to fake Marshall headphones ;)
Marshal Major IV only supports 16 bit 44100 Hz over bluetooth, this was not disclosed by the seller and was a huge dissapointment and downgrade over Major III. So what is maximum format we can have on PC with this new Major V?
My marshall mids battery died not long ago so I was looking for replacement. I've ordered Major V, JBL Live 670NC and Edifier WH950NB and was sure Majors will stay.. Edifiers won for me. Very comfortable, best sound quality of the three, best ANC (Majors does not have ANC).... overall best package .... and they are the cheapest at the momnet!! PS. I would have picked Majors over JBL
I currently use a VModa XS but it is beat up bad. I am looking for a replacement. So I'm already very familiar with on-ear design. In fact, I've been having GREAT difficulty in finding a corded on ear, non wirless on ear solution. What is the Marshal V like when you use the 3.5mm cable with something like the Boom Mic Pro?
Hello Brother, I want to ask you something about my Momentum Wireless 4 On-Ear Headphones: The settings and graphics in the transparent and ANC mode section confused me a little. So: I turn the transparent mode on all the way, everything is normal. As a result, it's not something I use much anyway. But if I set ANC to MAX I hear an increase in bottom noise that resembles wind noise. The same thing happens when I activate the ADAPTIVE mode. Because when you activate the adaptive mode, as you know, ANC is already at the highest level. Actually, sometimes I think this is the natural sound of ANC. Since we cannot completely turn off the ANC mode in the Sennheiser Momentum 4, we probably have to hear the sub-sound of ANC in quiet environments. I did not encounter this since I could turn it off completely in the previous Sony WH-1000XM4. The weird thing is that there is a long line in the middle of the ANC and Transparent mode graph; When I move the cursor to that line, the wind noise I hear decreases considerably, but despite this, ANC does a good job; But when I slide it all the way to the left, that is, to ANC, the bottom wind noise increases a little more and becomes annoying, especially in quiet environments. What should I understand from this? Does the ANC system work this way on all headphones? Or is the ANC of this headset a little different from the ANC we know because we cannot turn it off completely? A UA-camr friend of mine tested this situation with a decibel meter and this strangeness is repeated there as well. In other words, when ANC is at max, he observes the increase in sound on the decibel meter. Do you have knowledge about this subject? Thank you very much in advance for your answer.
You did not mention that the M5 now support AAC codec, pretty important for iPhone users. M4 did not support AAC. Excellent pair of headphones, my first on ear.
Thanks for the review. Im not sure how effective ANC would be on these headphones? On ear fit would make it difficult to cancel much of the outside noises. 💯👍🇺🇸
can u please do the beats solo 4 earbuds when they come out. They are $80 and eligible for Apple Care. I would like to see them compared against the OnePlus buds 3 if possible for the best $80 earbuds
I hope they are more comfortable then IV’s. I tried to use IV’s and they seemed to be super comfortable but only for about an hour: after this I though my heads gonna blow
@@aaronloudnwireless did you try the aptxhd codec wirelessly? I read in several forums that aptxhd is only supported with wired connection so ldac is the only highres codec left for Bluetooth earbuds, can you confirm that?
That would be quite sweaty and it may not stay on very well with certain movements. I think Airpods (or something similar from whatever brand you like) would be better for the gym.
Main problem is ear and hairband. I use this headset while doing sports. Naturally, when my hair and ears sweat, the paint of the headset peels off. This makes the headset very disgusting.
I looked for new headphones, My old Sennheiser HD250BT sounds better and louder 🤷♂️ I tried also JBL Live 670NC, the last sound approximately like Marshal but completely uncomfortable and making pressure on my ears especially when I wearing eye glasses :-/
Yea😢 sound quality is great but the volume is just😢😢😢 i did a refund. it was a shame, just, tf marshall? You rockers hearing a most louder music in the world
I've recently purchased these and I'm quite impressed with the sound. I do like to use wired connection as we all know the sound quality wired is better than Bluetooth - or should be. So here's my problem. Tidal! When you connect these or any BT headphones to the Tidal app up pops a message telling you that Bluetooth compresses the sound quality . .. This is not what I'm paying for with Tidal. So I connected the very thin little supplied headphones cable - no sound!! It turns out that you have to turn the volume up full on both the headphones and your source. For me that's Sony AW45 and my Sony Xperia 10 mobile. It's the only way you can hear anything and I'm not sure that the sound quality with cable is any better.. be interested to hear what others have to say. I must admit the Bluetooth connection is actually rather pleasant to listen to. And the bass definitely there if you need it.

I bought a pair of Major 5 recently, but can't find the le audio option. And I can't find any information about this exept on their website.
Aaron! Thanks for posting this video
No worries!

Nope, compensated with Minidsp's HPN comp curve
Hello Aaron. On your major V is the QR code in it's earpiece printed or sticker?
Just got my pair of Major V , fantastic i will say , the look is a head turner of marshall always but the sound is super amaIng

How do these sound compared to the major 3 ? Mine have finally given out and these seem like a direct upgrade

can we add external mic on marshall major v? in case we use it for online meeting/conference
You can't, it does not support mic input

So which one did you buy, whats your opinion?
Does it work well for office use ? (Laptop connectivity - Dell)
