I have always been a bit interested in Scotland, especially after watching the movie 'Brave' and reading the Outlander books lol but you just made it sound amazing! Very cook and informative video. Also, you seem like a super laid-back and happy person. I am cheering you all on for your independence!!! P.S. I'm American
Aww thank you again! Brave is quickly becoming one of my most watched Disney films, a title I never thought it could achieve but it's just so good. Irn Bru is just a fizzy drink (but I normally use it as a vodka mixer too) - I definitely recommend you give it a try!
JodieeJane I would love to! You just gave me an idea. I make youtube videos as regularly as I can. Did you get a chance to try a lot of American snacks and sweets while you were here? I was wondering if maybe we can send each other a box and make a vlog trying to snacks? Just a thought.
Great idea! I tried lots of reeces things, hersheys and poptarts. We do get them here in shops called 'Americandy' but they're so expensive and just the basic flavours. Didn't try twinkies or anything too exciting actually. I do love those sort of videos. I could send you some irn bru and Scottish things! Definitely give me a wee message :)
Okay great! Can you follow me on instagram? I'll follow back so that we can message each other. I don't want either of our addresses public. Also, you can check out my youtube to see that I'm a real and normal person (kind of) lol
I've copied down your Scottish phrases and am going to begin using them in my daily life. Slowly at first, then with increasing frequency. Hopefully by this time next year, they've spread to the wider North Dallas population.
Nice videos, but you forgot the best thing about scotland is camera obscura, one of my favorite bands of all time and probably the most beautiful singer ever.
Scotland is very cool. I feel like are countries are similar to each other. We both like to laugh at ourselves and feel satisfied where we live. Scotland after all, along with England, Ireland,Wales, and France built Canada. Do you think you would ever visit Canada? Sorry for the rambling and so many questions I'm just a very curious person.
If it wasn't for Irn Bru and deep fried pizza I would've had the worst hangover ever a few years ago. One of my favorite things about Glasgow is you stay at a hotel. You go to bed and out your window you have a drunken football nut drunk laying around the sidewalk. You wake up in the morning and the same guy is sleeping like a baby with barf on their shirt, using a pizza box and a bag of trash as a pillow, ha ha ha!
thoroughly enjoyed this!!! took my niece to scotland in june (hebrides & skye). Scotland Trip 2014 - UPDATED!, my second trip. LOVE YOUR COUNTRY!!! well done : )
JodieeJane That a relief, you see I have only just learned of your native haggis and its odd behaviors. On a side note I love bagpipes and would love to see a video of a real scot like yourself playing the music of your land.
Thank you! Having so much attention on Glasgow does make you realise how good it actually is. Watched a couple of your videos too, and have subscribed!
Jump cuts usually drive me 'round the bend (another wee phrase my glaswegian mother has yelled at me from time to time over the years), but for some reason you get a pass! Irn Bru is the best, I know of a couple of places to get it here, just too expensive to drink on a regular basis. Good luck with the referendum, I'll be watching with interest as an american born glesga boy at heart.
Hahah thank you, I hope you manage to keep the Scottish phrases going! I completely forgot about 'round the bend' - there's just so many things we say that I don't even realise are scottish! Definitely make sure you treat yourself to a wee can every so often. Only 9 days to go! I'm excited that the world seems to be watching us now!
Missed your videos! See you around town a lot...not a stalker Glasgow's just a tiny wee place lol. Happy you're back :D
LOVE from Inverness!!! This is my second fav video from you!! You're totally right about people making Glasgow! HAHAHA Irn Bru, EVERY SCOTS' DRINK!
I love this Jodie! My favourite video of yours yet :)
Although... did you refer to pakora as Scottish ?!? hahahaha
Great video Jodie, its good to see you uploading again.
Thanks very much and thanks for sharing! I will be back with more videos now that it's getting too cold for beer gardens on my days off! haha
hahaha, so we can expect new uploads on cold days! that pretty much means youll need to be a daily vlogger :-)
hahaha we'll see!

Oh never mind! I see you've also paid my youtube a visit. Regardless, I'd still like to be able to message you on IG, if you don't mind!
No, you can't trust the sun. In Oregon though, we've given up on umbrellas. It's usually a sign that you're from out of town when the train hits.

Hahaha YES, spread the word. Good luck on your mission.
I'd love to visit Glasgow. Quite a few of the sayings you get in Australia.
It's sad you haven't made a video in a while. You're video's are entertaining and so funny.
"Hurricane Testicles", made my day.
Nice videos, but you forgot the best thing about scotland is camera obscura, one of my favorite bands of all time and probably the most beautiful singer ever.
I live in the states and I LOVE "Still Game"!!!!!

It's not a pink poncy unicorn... it wears a kilt off camera.
Great video. Keep them coming.
Thank you, I will do!
I just watched the IRN-BRU advert and it really is awesome! Don't hate me for asking, but is it alcohol or a fizzy drink? Giving you a big thumbs up!
My favourite Scottish thing - the result of the independence referendum.
Also... the game of Ba is pretty great too.
I'm all for Scottish independence! Got September 18 marked on my calendar

I don't know if you realized this while filming, but there is a wild haggis right behind you.
Yeah wee Bawsack. It's fine but, cause he doesn't have arms or legs so can't attack or anything.
JodieeJane
