For your shower you may want to try a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and dish soap. Shake together and spray on shower. You could also then sprinkle baking soda for grit. It might not get it all off at once but if it is working you should see improvement everytime you use. Hope that helps.

For the screen I recommend getting a cleaning brush head drill bit and barkeepers friend. That combo did us wonders for our screen and saves your wrists from hard scrubbing.

I'm sorry, but the name Princess Fluffy Butt has already been taken! It belongs to my ginger cat Cinnamon. Also off limits is Madam Fluffy Butt. While Freya is moulting, you might want to try a Furminator brush. Apparently it gets rid of the loose coat a lot quicker and easier. I don't think collecting dog fur is weird. I collect my cats' whiskers ... The technical name for an animal lying in the legs out behind position is a sploot. Normally done by cats, but maybe Freya is part cat?

I second the recommendation for white vinegar and soap. Once you get it clean, you might consider a water repellant product (like Rain-X in USA - typically sold for car windshields/windscreens) to keep water scale from forming.

My dogs loved being brushed. It really does help to keep the fur amount down around the house. If not, hair galore! lol So nice to get things situated around the house and make it comfy. :)

We used a magic eraser on our shower. We had the same issue when we moved into our place. I also love dish soap and vinegar.
It looks great, Arna! Love all the Freya content, especially her love of Kongs! I have so many for my dog, and I just keep frozen ones full of kibble, peanut butter, and pumpkin for emergency moments. I love the pump cover, but please be careful about painting the inside right next to the heat pump! Make sure the paint is non-flammable. (Sorry, paranoid about fire safety)

You need an undercoat rake.

You can fill Kongs with plain no salt mashed potatoes and freeze it and it will last for so long to distract her 😊
Yes I’ve heard freezing them makes them last longer!
If you are really struggling with the haziness of the shower glass, it may be glass cancer, in which case, there’s not really anything you can do to get it clear again unless you replace the glass

Theirs a few company's that knit stuff with your dogs fur. I got a Snowflake scarf made. They say two walks a day are best for most dog breeds so Cleopatra gets two walks a day most of the time but I do live in Canada and she is a Chihuahua as when it's -30 no more walkies but she dose have a yard to run around in.
It’s nice to break up their day a bit with a couple of walks I think!
Good for you walking a small breed 2x a day, I see a lot of people taking small dogs to potty only.

I put my dogs fur in a bird feeder box and the birds took it for their nests.

Your shower glass could have glass cancer - if you can’t get the water marks out you might need to tell the glass
Sad! It is probably 20 years old, so due for an upgrade… will add it to the Reno list 😅 although that’ll probably be a lower priority
@@ArnaAlayneMorton it is still worth trying to get it off first - I think there are glass scrapers you can buy that work on soap scum stains
