Great work. I tried working out the solo years ago and got it all wrong. For some reason I was trying to play it on the top 2 strings which was pretty impossible! I can finally play it thanks to you 👍
A really fantastic cover of the song originally played by one of the best guitarists in the early era of New Wave. Thank you for showing your technique especially in solo part!
Thanks! The solo is really elusive... takes a bit to get it right but once you lock into the rhythm, it's a bit of a genius piece. It's simpler than it sounds.
This was AWESOME! Your tone and accuracy are on point! I saw and commented on your _'Castles In Spain'_ video a long time ago. I never knew you made this video too. I just recently got into making bass videos again after a long time of being a ghost in hiatus. I know life gets in the way sometimes. I hope you make more videos someday too. Nod in your direction... 👍👌✌️
Thank you! It took me a while to figure this one out, after making the Castles video... and yeah, life does seem to get in the way a lot, that's why it takes me so long to make new videos -_- I'll check your videos out, cheers!
@@GuedzillaI totally understand about life getting in the way. That's why it's taken me a long while to get back into posting videos. Now that I have a bit more free time, I hope to get back at it a lot more often, haha!
FANTASTIC JOB! The tone was spot-on, and so was your playing. This is a really cool song. The Armory Show were great. Waiting For The Floods is a really good LP. John’s guitar work on that LP is phenomenal like it always was. How did you figure out what tuning this was in? I figured it’d be in standard... But not according to the description.
Thanks! I'm really proud of this one. The tuning I didn't figure, John mentioned it on this interview: www.armouryshow.com/media/interviews/1985-11-00_The_Guitarist-John_mcgeoch_01.jpg
Thank you for keeping the memory of the inimitable talent that was John McGeogh alive.
Thank you for the 80's hair rock thing :D
Love how Billy Curries viola was recreated using a slide guitar.
Brilliant work 👏 👍 👌
:D
Love that picking at the 12th fret
John McGeoch ! What a blessing that we ever had him at all, genius ❤️ !
Agreed!
Lovely yamaha sg 3000 played fantastically!
It's a wonderful guitar… thanks!
Belo cover.
Curto demais esse grupo de um álbum só.
Forte abraço !!
Anos depois... obrigado! Abraço!
brilliant 👏
Thanks!
Quality - nothing much else to say - Mcgeogh was the master of this sound !!
It's a shame he didn't stick around longer :(

Thanks! I can't blame you, it was quite tricky to figure out, good thing there's a live video around.
Another great flawless cover of one of the greatest guitarists ever. Thank you for your hard work
Thanks for watching! If only all work was like this :D
Sounds really amazing
Thanks!
Brilliant!
Cheers!
Love that guitar.
It's great :)
Fantastic playing 🎸
Thanks!
Bom gosto é outra coisa! Excelente!
Obrigado! :D

@@Guedzilla Thank you for your reply. I look forward to watching another cover of John McGeoch by you!

What a great band they were 👍
:D
A shame we never got to hear the other song in this tuning that John mentioned for the upcoming AS album. In a parallel universe maybe
I wonder if there's a lot of home demos by him stored somewhere... with his family maybe?
Thank you 🙏
In my opinion the e-bow solo actually works better than the Billy Currie violin version.
Oh, really? Nice thanks!
Nice work. Is that a Yamaha SG2000 or one of the newer models?
Thank you! It's an '83 SG3000.
What tunings the guitar in thanks :)
