- A great line up in the 1996 Power of the Force action figures Wave 5. Iconic Tatooine creates in the Tusken Raider sand people and Jawas. Plus the always fun R5-D4 with a very fun play feature hidden inside. Plus the poplar cantina alien Hammerhead. We even get a stormtrooper but he's a little short...It's Luke Skywalker in disguise aboard the Death Star. See their still redeeming qualities in this review of the 90's return of Star Wars.

Star Wars and GIJoe seems to be the only collections which have so many characters being released...
Yeah, I like to cover other shows and lines of the 90's but they are all 1 off videos. Not everything will appeal to everyone. Star Wars is a nice constant that a lot of people enjoyed, and there's too much to cover in only a few videos. It's a big part of my collections also. But I never jumped into GI Joe.
Masters of the universe also have lots of characters and Transformers too
@@francoisregis2155yep, they are a close second, but they don't have the same amount of characters being released than the two I mentioned!
@@francoisregis2155 I was going through all my ORIGINS for MOTU, but they all had such small view counts since so many other channels covered them earlier than I ever got them, despite my videos have higher retention rates than a lot of others. I tried to make them pretty in depth.
Nice video I remember when I got Momaw Nadon when I saw his big gun I never put it on the figure it still lay in my weapon box.
Luke Stormtrooper was cool I never checked if he was different from the 3 pack with Han stormtrooper and Chewie.
Jawas is cool I like them especially with the glowing eyes effect.
R5 I cut the blasters on the sides and never shot the missile I wasn’t too fond of that feature

Yeah there are some weird non- screen accurate bits but they are fun to see now since there is a far greater effort for toys and figures to be more accurate and not have all these weird features added. But the Jawas bit is also inaccurate, but has a great effect that IS accurate to the movies. So it just depends on your preference.
At the time they were great I still like them even if they are now more accurate and more detailed (cloths for capes or robes) weapons got smaller more articulations.
But these figs are special.
If they weren’t I wouldn’t have spend time to search them back in 95 and so on 😃
@@francoisregis2155The Han and Luke stormtrooper figures in the 3-pack were indeed a little different than the single releases. The 3-pack had arms that were more outstretched to kind of recreate the scene of them leading Chewie as a prisoner. The single releases were better overall and had slightly better paint apps, but having more stormtroopers in the collection was always a plus.

These SW POTF line sure are fascinating. Love that Jowa's eye effects. I never had one of these line so it's amusing to watch each characters with your fun commentaries.
I like the groups, not quite enough to say about 1, but the group let's me jump to the next easily. I still need to do more of these "waves."
