Great information, great tests & great results. We have used the 124 HST in all of our 9mm self defense guns since 2016(I believe). I have tested and loaded my wife's 9s and a home defense 9mm with 115 & 124 Gold Dot (+p) in the past. I also had 124(+p) PDX-1 in here 9. My daughters have always and only carried HST in their 9s. Thanks a bundle.
You are welcome and as always, thank you for watching. I continue to test and shoot the HST and it is quite impressive. In fact, we have switched over to carrying with this bullet (124 gr. 9mm).
Since you knew you didn't recover the V-Crown in your previous hard barrier test, why, when you had the media already set up, did you not just fire ONE MORE ROUND...?
Hello Voop, thanks for watching and posting your idea. We have tested the TAC-XP bullets and here is a link to that video ua-cam.com/video/tjpHfU59X_U/v-deo.html The TAC-XP is a Barnes bullet and we tested with Barnes factory ammo. I will be doing a test with some 147 gr. bullets this spring/summer and we did test one 147 gr. bullet, the Winchester Silvertip. Here is a link to that video ua-cam.com/video/5DPwLVwuas0/v-deo.html Now the 70 gr. sounds interesting. I will see what I can do to find some of this ammo and test it.
@@sdkweber oh wow, I jad bo idea you already tested some of these. Thank you for including links so I can go right to tgise videos! Based off the one video I was able to find reviewing the 70gr HERO bullet, I believe you will be surprised by the end results. Great job on the videos, keep up the great work brother!
Id like to see civil defense/ultra light and/or overwatch compared to lehigh controlled fracturing, as well as HST compared to defiant tcx. HST is great stuff if you get it cheap but underwood extreme defenders and especially defiant tcx are the best ammo but expensive And dont get me wrong, HST is still pretty top notch and can hold it’s own. Maybe defiant tcx is a little better but not worth 4x the cost
We will be doing a test with Civil Defense ammo and I just purchased a box for that test. I looked into Defiant TCX and you are right, it is very expensive. Not sure if I will test that one or not. The CorBon DPX really shined in some of our recent tests and it is quite reasonable in price. Thanks for watching and posting.

Great test, would be interested in the performance of the 147 gr HST with a 3-4 inch barrel.
Thanks Jonny D. I will see if we can work it in to our upcoming series this spring.

Can you test Underwoods 9mm HERO 70Gr,147gr +p JHP,or their Tac-xp ammo please?
