I just have to thank you for thinkin of our ears. Nobody has ever turned the volume down so we arent assaulted by loud horrid noise. And may I say this pumpkin house is so adorable. You really have a talent for creative ideas. Nice job
ohh thank you for taking the time to mention that. My youngest son has sensory issues, loud noises is one of them, so I'm sensitive to that. It doesn't take much effort to make sure those noises are not included and I'm very happy to know it's appreciated. I felt there was some other noises I wish I could banish but wasn't able to do it. Thanks again, I appreciate your feedback!
Im SOOOOO happy your posting again Sharon!! Ive missed you! And of course just in time, I needed a mushroom tutorial and there you were! Im about to tackle the mouse mansion outside bark and here you are with another paper towel surfacing video. All very kismet if you ask me. Hug your Dad for me, and thank you again so much for sharing. Love from NY!!

The egg boxes and coffee carriers are made from papier mache add water and you can model with it! Oh I have fallen in love with your makes, adore pumpkins and magical houses, fairies, gnomes etc xx
I love the way you think. You know what you want to make, but after that, you need a chimney or branches on the tree. And you make it happen. I love it. Thank you for sharing, can't wait till I see part 2.
I love your teaching. I made your mouse last night and he turned out so cute and excited to make your adorable pumpkin home. I want to surpise my grandaughter, shes 7. Thank you so much. Your pumpkin looks very cute! Thank you for teaching important details and making it so clear. It's fun hearing you think outloud.😊❤
Your house has character and looks old which is what it should look like. I think it is absolutely fantastic. You really made an adorable Fall decoration that everybody will love but especially children will be fascinated by this and have fun imagining the little elves who live there.
I completed the creepy tree last year. You I want to do this one next. Your voice is so calming and your work and directions are so spot on! Love your channel!
Wow I am speechless..who knew you could make something so cool out of foil, cardboard and paint.. You are amazing!!! I love everything you have made watched the tree this morning ❤😍
I'm so happy I seen your video on ROKU when looking for ways to texture my project and yet have it strong enough for a 7 yr. old to have fun with..It's going to be a Barbie Boutique with outside stairs to an apartment..I'm a Grammy on à learning curve and love it..Thank-You..
Wow, that is amazing!! I definitely would love to great something like this, if I get it half as good as yours I'll be ecstatic. You have amazing creative hands!!! Hi from Ireland
I have no adequate words, your work, patience, enthusiasm, giggle in some parts, is contagious, I thank you so much for sharing the extensive labor of love with each and every creative project, I am encouraged and inspired with each one.
I love this. May see if my Mom would like to try this together for her front porch. She's always decorating her porch depending on the season & she would love this. Great job, it's lovely. If we do it, it would be for next season. I know she & her husband have many appointments. Plus she's trying to help take care of my 93-year-old Granma. And my Mom herself is 73. So we would probably have to do a little at a time. If we do I will post it when it's finished. TYFS
Your pumpkin house is so cute! My grandson now wants us to make one. I just have to buy more foil...lol. Thank you for your always fun tutorials, very clear instructions. 😊🎃❤️👍
This is just adorable!! I think a little witchy lady gnome figure would be such a cute addition! Little black hat, and a cauldron in the fire place! I am so inspired by you.
Sharon you are wonderful and you make it look so simple. I started making our little mouse house today and after two hours of trying to paper machè the inside I can no longer feel my legs ( mabey I should not be doing this on the floor) Watching your videos again as I forgot how to make the door. Thank you so much for your channel it is a pleasure watching you creativity.
So incredible, I was so captivated! Something I think I can do! You’ve motivated me to get back into my craft room! Thank you for an excellent tutorial! Beautiful job!
@@WhereTheGnomesLive Sharon I would like to show you a haunted house I made but I cannot figure out how to attach stuff. My grandson who is 25 years old is a Halloween baby and loves Halloween themed decorations so i'm going to make a very mini version of this pumpkin (like a mini snow globe) for his burthday. Anyway I'm thinking it's probably easy to attach pictures if not technology challenged like me.... I would welcome any suggestions.

This is absolutely amazing!! I love your videos and your imagination! Please keep them coming. I am hoping to save them all to use and craft with my soon to be born grandson once he is old enough to start crafting! I am so glad I found you and your channel!
Thanks for showing how to do this with just the foil, tape, glue, and paper towels. This looks so cool as usual. I do enjoy watching your videos. I am so glad you are able to start doing them again.
Wow! I actually love all the bumps & wrinkles cause it adds to the old look character of the pumpkin! Your work is above & beyond anything else iv ever seen by the few materials used to create such a masterpiece! I can't wait to watch the 2nd stage now! I'm literally binge watching after 1st seeing your adorable hedgehogs! I'm so glad iv found your channel and subscribed! Now onto part 2! Hugs 🤗
Super fun project. I love your pumpkin and tree. It is so amazing to watch you create. I am excited to see the inside and who gets to live in the wonderful pumpkin. Tfs. Hugs and blessings.
This takes me back to my childhood. It wasn’t called crafting. It was called making decorations or toys for you or the dogs, cats & birds. Cotton twine, wax paper, Elmer’s glue, aluminum foil, masking or scotch cellophane tape. Watercolor paint, flour&water glue, construction paper, cardboard & fabric scraps. Popsicle sticks and staples. Left over house paint. Coat hangers and twigs. And don’t cut yourself on your dad’s pocket knife!
I am so inspired by your pumpkin! Can't wait to see the finished product! I have everything here to do that one! I buy the huge rolls of extra strong foil. And living in the country I buy paper towels in bulk! So glad you are back crafting. Hoping you and your father are doing well and having a great weekend.
Love this and all your buildings. You are a master at painting and aging. Love the look of that door. Hard to believe it is cardboard. Have been admiring your work from Ohio for a long time.
You always have great tips to share. You are obviously a very experienced crafter! I really like all your creations. Thanks for being so generous, with all your fabulous ideas!
Oh this house is sooooo adorable!! I love it so much!! I have wanted to make a pumpkin house for years. I even bought a pumpkin from Michael's craft store to use. I only got as far as carving out a door & windows. But you have inspired me to now finish it and also to make a smaller one for 1/12 scale. I usually work in 1/6 scale. I want to ad foil to the existing pumpkin because yours is sooooo much better in my opinion than any I have seen available in the stores. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us!
ohhh thank you so much, I really appreciate that! I had my doubts about the pumpkin at first but I soon fell in love with the imperfections of it. And I think that's a great idea to build onto an existing structure, those kinds of projects can be really fun!
I'm also working on a pumpkin house too. I got a black foam core one at a thrift shop, so I needed to paint it like a pumpkin. The interior is kind of balking me. The curved walls are a bit difficult for furnishings. I am anxious to see how you get around it. I have some pieces made but am trying to decide what I want in there....not a lot of room. What a coincidence you are doing one too. I gave mine a garden and a well, and a wood box outdoors.
Yes, I have to figure out that out.. lol but I'm sure it'll turn out! I am tacking the interior today.. hopefully the video will be up in the next couple days or so :)
I am soooooo happy to see your back on here! I get on my kindle and go on UA-cam to watch some videos on how to make miniatures. Sometime soon I'm going to try to make my own stuff. I hope that is... But anyways, I always got on here and try to find out if you put a new video out yet. I got soooooo excited when I seen you did. I love watching your videos! So please, please keep them coming!
Well I absolutely love it!! I can not wait to see the interior and the character. I may just have to make one too. The window s and roof details are fantastic!🍄❤️🍄 you do awesome work.
Congratulation beautyfull House of innovazione and super classic ideal ... i tink to take a new abitat for only me' for all my particolar Life! 🙃🙂🤩🤪😎🥳🤡😸💛👍
It’s just amazing and fun to watch u work!..that pumpkin looks so great when u get the tape on..I try to find viva paper towels at dollar general without any designs and bumps.they r smooth and work soo good.they started getting in new viva with designs and bumps and I complained to the manager..don’t ruin a good thing hahaha..so now he has both..I had 9 rolls when we moved and my hubby said we have plenty of paper towels..I said oh no we don’t.ldont u dare use my paper towels lolol..I have hid them in my craft room so I’m sure they don’t get used..that door is my favorite door u have ever made!!!❤️..are bats going to b living in that dark stump or spiders..?..looove the roof and steps and that technique....and the fence..And fireplace..everything is awesome!!!.ltrying to imagine what u will do to the inside..can’t wait!!!
Love it sooo much!!!!!!! I wished I had more time to make this with my students!!!! Thank you so very very much for sharing this Sharon, you truly rule! ♥
@@WhereTheGnomesLive There is always next year, I might make a really small one this weekend to decorate the classroom, but I'm sure when they know I made it they are going to want to learn!!! and I will show them your video! ♥
Love your work that is going to look fabulous. Thank you for taking us long step-by-step. Should I want to make one I will be able to refer to your video. You are very talented
And btw I am in love with your channel! You have given me the bravery to try and make a mouse and I plan to post the result when I have completed it! You are an awesome teacher!
Interesting! Off to show this to mom. I've got several hollow foam pumpkins in storage for mom to try out something like this (She's now on a fairy/gnome house/garden obsession from your videos). I might be nice and rough it out for her "to play with" while my "mushroom train" project has stalled momentarily. Who knows?
that's awesome, hope she enjoys it. I have 2 foam ones too, in storage, I had planned on decorating them one day but then this happened instead. But maybe I will haul one out and see what can be done before Halloween maybe.. for those who don't want to build one. It's something I'll think on, thanks for the comment, a video might come of it, lol or next year.. we'll see
Such an amazing artist!!!!! Thank you sooo much for making this amazing video!!! I wanted to make a pumpkin 🎃 mini house for my chipmunks and when I see your video I am soooooooo excited!!!!!! When I will finish it I will tag you on Instagram.. Soooo beautiful thank you!!!!!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Aww its adorable! I love it! I do have a tip for the base however, if you glue the layers of cardboard together, make sure you have the lines in the cardboard going in different directions as this makes it much stronger (the corrugations I mean, have the first horizontal and the second vertical if you get me.)

That was wonderful! Your relaxed approach gives me so much confidence to try new things! Love all the details! 👏🏻😀
I'm so glad to hear that! Happy building :)
Amazing! The details are incredible.
I Love the Pumpkin house ❤
awesome tips, thank you!
I really love this pumpkin house great job. I am going to try to make one.
Have fun!
So awesome and so inspiring...you rock girl! Can’t wait for the inside!
SOOO KOOOOOLLLLL

Holy cow Sharon, you are incredibly talented! I am just BLOWN AWAY, truly. I am curious as to how you store these thru the year.
this was a build for indoors so I don't have to do much, just find a storage spot until I'm ready to display it
It’s just amazing and fun to watch u work!..that pumpkin looks so great when u get the tape on..I try to find viva paper towels at dollar general without any designs and bumps.they r smooth and work soo good.they started getting in new viva with designs and bumps and I complained to the manager..don’t ruin a good thing hahaha..so now he has both..I had 9 rolls when we moved and my hubby said we have plenty of paper towels..I said oh no we don’t.ldont u dare use my paper towels lolol..I have hid them in my craft room so I’m sure they don’t get used..that door is my favorite door u have ever made!!!❤️..are bats going to b living in that dark stump or spiders..?..looove the roof and steps and that technique....and the fence..And fireplace..everything is awesome!!!.ltrying to imagine what u will do to the inside..can’t wait!!!

You are an awesome teacher!
ohhh so glad to hear that and thank you very much! Have fun with your mouse, you can do it! I'll look forward to the update :)
It's something I'll think on, thanks for the comment, a video might come of it, lol or next year.. we'll see
This turned out so cute!!!

My admiration to your work ❤ From Russia🇷🇺
thank you so much, I appreciate that. Waving from Canada :)
@WhereTheGnomesLive 👍😊
Aww its adorable! I love it! I do have a tip for the base however, if you glue the layers of cardboard together, make sure you have the lines in the cardboard going in different directions as this makes it much stronger (the corrugations I mean, have the first horizontal and the second vertical if you get me.)
Thanks for the tip!
Amazing 😄 Thank you for sharing 😊💝
I love this omg so beautiful girl you have skill
