I'm sorry to say I've been away for awhile, your skills and art have increased 10 fold. I can remember when you would not have attempted such a character. You did a marvelous work with this rock biter, he is full of soul and humor, you can almost see him move. Bravo.
I struggle so much with painting, but after watching this I think I am ready to try it again :) I really appreciate your tips and the way you calmly and slowly explain everything makes it really accessible to me (i am autistic). Thank you so much!
thank you so much for sharing that. I would feel extremely grateful if the painting tips were helpful to you. I struggled so much with it so I know how that feels. I will include more about painting in the future too..
So cool! Me and my 6 year old granddaughter are starting our summer project. A tree house for wood it’s family of owls with your technique. I have all supplies ready and we are going for it cant wait
He’s so cute, I loved the never ending story when I was young! I would love to see you do the dragon dog thing that he flys on. Lol I need to watch the movie again, I bet it’s been close to 10 years sense the last time I saw it. Lol
OMG Sharon.... he is absolutely perfet!!! I have been thinking what to make for my daughter (33) she wants a castle and dragon and cliffs and water and druid.... i got her a Pullip to make into a druid..... BUT NOW..... im gonna have to make her into the princess and make this Rock biter into the cliffs..... now im gonna have to figure out the good luck dragon and perch him on top of the castle...yaaaayyyy so much inspiration from you, THANKS BUNCHES!!!!! This is going to be so much fun, especially with this being her favorite movie as a little girl, how nostalgic!! I love it!!!!! Your the BEST!!!!!
As always, this is so awesome!!!! you don't cease to amaze me my dear friend!! Oh, I bet Gnomey was not happy at all with the cat being in the Forest room!! (The cat is sooooo cute btw ♥)
I really like how the basic body armature made this way can be used to make so many characters . Not a fan of the movie nor was I familiar with the character but I love what you've made . Great desk buddy !
yes! While I was doing the 2nd method of the hands I was already thinking ahead to the next character. It's exciting to know that it doesn't have to be difficult. I always loved the 1st movie but the sequels were absolutely terrible. The 1st one stays with me because of the fantasy characters in it. I want to make a few more of them... the Luck Dragon is heavy on my brain atm
I LOVE your videos and creativity!!! I would love it if you would show a video on how to do a creature/tree, etc that could be outside. I have a gnome village going outside.❤❤
thank you! Rock Biter is from the NeverEnding Story. There are other characters that I want to make from the story too.. I might be tackling the Luck Dragon, it's been heavy on my mind since I made Rock Biter... we'll see!
@@WhereTheGnomesLive OH YES PLEASE... i just read your reply and i am going to need a starting point for the Luck Dragon too!!! crossing fingers and hoping you get the good motivation..... sending all i have your way!! :P
That is great!! I have not seen that movie in years. I need to fix that. :D Maybe I will put this on my clay sculpting project list. I just named a rescue foster kitten Fizgig since he looks like him in the face/head. I need to see that movie again soon too. :D Need more cats? I have six foster kittens that will be ready for new home soon. ;) - Heidi
hahaha ya, the cats let me live here so I can tend to their needs but they set the rules, I pretend like I do but we all know that's just pretend. The cats, Loki (the grey) and Lucy (not seen in this video), rule. And thank you so much for the kind words!

I've never seen the The NeverEending Story. But you really nailed the Rock Biter from the movie. And he is so cute!! You are so talented!!
thank you so much! That was a joy to hear :)
Can you use this technique for outdoor figurines? Wanting to build a gnome house on our outside tree stump.
I make it work with thinner foil but it takes a lot more pressure and really squeezing it and it will be just as sturdy
Yup, I’ve used it too and it works just fine. Just have to use more, that’s all 🙂
I remember when I saw this character in the cinema. I thought he was a baddie at first but as soon as he started speaking I knew he was ok, lol.
What is a practical use of these paper coats?
It adds strength as well as a paintable surface
Where do u get the pictures. I don't have an computer
♥️♥️♥️‼️‼️‼️
